Chapter 47: Spacing out

Baekhyun's POV
"Look at Ha Neul go." Joon Gi-hyung said, with a face of disbelief, by that I was swept away from my thoughts. We all look at Ha Neul-hyung, who was the first one to open a beer, and the only one drinking. Ha Neul-hyung looked back at us, giving us the same gaze. "What?" He ask. We end up in chuckles. Ha Neul-hyung smirked at us, as he obviously knows what's the answer of his question. "Yah! Aren't you guys gonna drink?" Ha Neul-hyung said, while lifting one bottle of beer that's close to him.

Joon Gi-hyung get back to his original seat, which is between Ha Neul-hyung and Sun Woo-hyung. Joon Gi-hyung gets the soju that was Ha Neul-hyung holding earlier. "Shall we start?" Joon Gi-hyung said, and he's not really wanting us to answer, as he already started pouring his glass. I smiled at the silliness goofing around our team. Joon Gi-hyung started pouring the others' glasses. Suddenly I remembered that Hera went to go to the comfort room. "Uhmm... wait." I said, and all of them looked at me, as of my sudden interaption.

I gulped as I know they'll call me worried...but that doesn't matter anymore. Also I want to talk to Hera. "Uhmm... I- I... uhmm" I'm stuttering. Why am I even nervous? I saw how their faces became more curious. "I'll just take a bathroom break." I excused, even though that's not what my real intention is. Some of them nodded. I quickly stand, as I know they'll talk about why did I stutter.

3rd person's POV
Baek walked to the direction of the washrooms. From the other table... Jang Hal exactly knows that Baek did that excuse for Hera. 'Baek-oppa is so so so obvious. Just why can't Hera know.' She thought smirking.

As Baekhyun was already in the hallway directing to the washrooms. There, he saw Hera that's already walking out of the girl's washroom. Hera was looking at him with big eyes, shock of what he's doing here. Soon she slowly look away, as she thought that, maybe Baekhyun is also going to the washroom. As she looks away, Baek is still looking at her eyes.

Hera passed Baekhyun, and walked to their table... that was what she wanted. She walked to pass Baek, and when Hera was side by side with Baek... Baek holds Hera's wrist, stopping her from walking further.

Baekhyun was still looking at his front, still not letting go of Hera's wrist. "Uhmm... Hera let's talk for awhile." Baek said, all calm, and tilted his head to the side to face Hera. While Hera, she'd been looking at Baekhyun, since Baek holds his wrist. Baekhyun rotated his body, still holding Hera's wrist.

Hera was still looking at Baek and Baekhyun is now looking at Hera. "Soondeok-ah... if you're thinking of avoiding me again... Please don't." Baekhyun said, and ends it with a smile. Hera was shocked of what just came out of Baek's mouth, as she is really not avoiding him. She was just really going to take a bathroom break earlier... and a word was repeating in her mind. "Again?" She asked and her tone was really curious if what she heard was right. That question was actually just for herself, but guess like her mind didn't take things that wasn't for it, and the question went too loud.

Baekhyun didn't loss the sight of her being surprised after she asked that. Baekhyun smiled and said "Just don't." Hera was totally speechless. As of, Baekhyun looks like he has no intention of going to the restroom. Hera asked "Anyway, how-- why did you think that I'm avoiding you though." Baekhyun was actually focusing on what Hera is asking, but when he realizes the question being shoot to him, he was all blank. He surely knows the answer... but what he's confused of, is that, how will he tell her.

Hera was waiting for him to answer... just then she felt Baek's grip in her wrist tighten. Hera looked at Baekhyun's hand and her wrist, and to Baekhyun... and a smirk can be found on Hera's lips. Her smirk is becoming more sarcastic, as she sees Baek is totally spacing out. Baek's grip is not that tight, but the sudden tighting is really weird.

Baekhyun came back to his self, and saw that Hera is totally watching him with her face already telling that he looks funny. Baekhyun, seeing Hera's reaction ought to smile. "Does me spacing out is funny to you?" He asked Hera. Hera shook her head, and her smirk turns out to be a smile. Baekhyun's smile is becoming sweeter per second.

Hera holds the space of her arm above Baek, and move her hand. She's pushing Baekhyun's hand out of her wrist. Baekhyun know what Hera's doing, he let go, before he holds her hand, and looked down, cause of embarassness that he hasn't let go, their whole conversation. While he was looking down Hera looked at him, and a smile is on her lips unconciously.

"Don't tell that was avoiding." Hera said to Baekhyun, and she's talking about the act that she did to make Baekhyun let go of her wrist. Baekhyun looked up, when he heard the girl's words, but when he did Hera was already walking away... and a smile can be found on Baekhyun's lips, while looking at Hera's retreating back. He soon followed the girl, with his smile still in his face.
