Chapter 71: Day of Hearts

3rd Person's POV
"Really?" Hera asked, bored and disappointed, but she can't blame him. Baekhyun tries to hide his smile, and continue the act. "Don't you want to cuddle all day?" Baekhyun asked and bites his lips, he's gonna laugh anytime now at how disappointed Hera looks.

Hera breathes deeply, controlling herself from saying words that she may not control. It's February 14, the day of hearts. And since Valentines is just three days away their 2nd monthsary, they- I mean, Baekhyun decided to celebrate it in one day. Hera has a thing about monthsaries, and Baekhyun has a thing about surprises.

'She's so disappointed. Oh my god.' He thought... and he burst out laughing. Hera look at him with furrowed brows. "Omo, I can't take it." He said and laughed more. Hera grits her teeth. How can he laugh when she's so pissed off right now? "What's funny?" She asked, not finding this situation funny.

He stops laughing. Hera asked like she might kill him any moment now. 'My girlfriend is scary...' He thought and smiled goofishly. Hera sighed, thinking that they will celebrate this day like this. You all know how adventurous Hera is, and Baekhyun knows too. She was about to pass him when he wrap his arms around her waist, making her eyes wide. "You know I'm just kidding. Let's go out." He said, looking at her, grinning as he sees Hera's puzzled face. "What?" She asked and look up at Baekhyun. "Happy Valentines." He said, smiling at her.

Hera stop a smile, and Baekhyun notice that. "I hate you." She said, covering her face with her small hands, as a light pink blush climb up to warm her cheeks. Baekhyun chuckled, knowing what her sentence truly means. He lays his head on her shoulder, making himself comfortable. "I love you too."

The two get out of the elevator. As normal, they are now wearing face masks and their hoods on. Walking and... "Shoot." Baekhyun said, seeing the weather. It's raining snow, it's not that hard, but he's sure that it wouldn't be nice to drive with a weather like this. "Great." Hera said and walk back to the elevator. The feeling when you're hoping too high, but it didn't happen. Baekhyun still has his mouth open, not expecting the snow rain today. No wonder, it has become colder. He then look at his side, then look back at the elevator when he sees that Hera isn't by his side.

Hera's in the elevator already, but she didn't push the close-doors button, as she knows he's going to come in. He sighs but not because of frustration. He walks to the lift, smiling. Cuddling isn't a bad idea anyways.

"I don't like cuddling." Hera said, looking at Baekhyun who is laying on the couch, his arms stretched out, inviting Hera for a hug. He grins. "Well, you have to." He said, but Hera just walk to the kitchen, not giving him attention. He scoffs and put his arms down. "Yah~" He said, doing aegyo and throwing tantrums by shaking his legs that are laying on the couch.

Hera just chuckled and put her coat on the chair's backrest... Baekhyun saw that, reminding him a funny and embarrassing scenario. His cheeks blushed immediately as dirty questions flood his mind. 'What if I didn't throw it? What if we use it- STOP! Use it?? U-Use i-it... omo.'

"In a weather like this and with my skills, I can only make you an oatmeal." Hera said, putting water in the eletric water heater and turning the switch on. Soondeok can live alone in the forest and make her own food, but Ji Hyeran can't. She's not Soondeok. Baekhyun put his gaze away from her. "S-Sure." He said and clenched his jaw, cursing himself for stuttering.

He gulped and sat properly, then took a throw pillow and put it on top of his laps, hiding a pet. 'Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale.' Baekhyun thought as he do so, and realized it's not helping. He look elsewhere, not looking at his back as it's headed towards the kitchen... His eyes largen with excitement at what he saw. Xbox. He smiles. "Deok-ah, I never know you have Xbox." He said and rush over the tv. Hera look at him, then heard the heater's alarm, notifying her that the water is ready.
