I would have kept it in one part, buuuuut it got a little.. well.. Wordy.
The Wraiths took off in the direction of the mountain, the way they came. I fell to the ground, clutching my wound. Why did I even think I could get away with this..? "For them.. For my brothers.." I whispered to myself. I felt weak, powerless, I was supposed to protect the group. I was sent by Celeborn to protect them.. An immortal elf to protect the group who was going to save all of Middle-Earth.. I breathed in heavily, trying to get some air but only felt pain. I swore I heard footsteps and yelling, but I couldn't tell what it was. I was losing consciousness, and would most likely die soon. How great. I felt a hand intertwine with mine, and looked to my side to see Merry in tears. "Don't cry.." I whispered. "Hold on, (Y/N). Please." He choked. "Merry, she has no chance. We don't have anything here to get the shard out." I heard Aragorn say in a sad voice? Since when did he even like me? He's only showed displeasure towards me since we met...
"DO SOMETHING!" Merry turned and yelled to Aragorn. Aragorn looked at the Halfling in disbelief. "Merry, there's nothing we can do. We don't have the right tools to get that shard out." Frodo said, trying to calm his friend down. "We need to try!" Merry yelled through tears at Frodo. I then gasped as I felt excruciating pain. Legolas was using a dagger to cut open my wound to try and get the shard out. "Stop!" I tried to yell, but it only came out in a hoarse whisper. "Legolas, stop, you're hurting her!" Merry gripped onto my hand tighter. "Do you want to save her or not?" Aragorn asked the Halfling. Merry went silent, gripping my hand tighter and tighter. I could hear faint sobs coming from him. I felt Legolas rip something out of me, and I gritted my teeth, trying to ignore the unignorable pain. "Got it!" Legolas jumped up, holding the shard very carefully in his hand.
"Does that mean she'll live?!" Merry asked quickly, alarm in his voice as if there's a glint of hope. "I'm not sure." Aragorn sighed. "Sit her up." Legolas instructed Merry and Pippin. Pippin grabbed my arm, and Merry my other. They helped me up, but as soon as I got up I felt a jolt of pain in my heart. I fell back to the ground, curling up into a ball. "Stop it, please!" I cried, not being able to deal with the pain. "There's nothing we can do out here in the wilderness. We need to take her back to Lothlorien, we're closer to there than we are Mirkwood or Rivendell." Legolas told Aragorn, who looked like he was ready to punch a tree. "Hold on, (Y/N),please!" Merry shook me, causing me to open my weary eyes. "Let's go!" Aragorn hollered. Legolas picked me up, and handed me to Aragorn, who was on his horse. "Aragorn, please don't let her die.." Merry pleaded. "I won't." He replied. I love her so much.. Merry thought to himself. Aragorn kicked his horse, and off we went to Lothlorien, the home of a new Wraith, and the end of a Hobbit's love.
