"Gandalf, welcome to Mirkwood." My brother's modish voice said from on top his throne. I could barely see him, for I was standing behind the wizard like I was told to do. "Thranduil, my old friend." Gandalf tipped his hat, showing respect towards the Elven King. "I see you have brought a visitor." His eyes pointed towards me. "Uh, yes." Gandalf put his hand firmly on my back, and pushed me forward. I faced my brother, now much older. His face hasn't changed, it's beauty still there. He was a king now, a real job for his smarts.

Thranduil stepped down a few steps, stopped, then walked down again. "It can't be.." He whispered, staring deeply into my eyes. "(Y/N).." He threw away his kingly elegance, and rushed to me. He wrapped his arms around me, hugging me tightly. I did the same back, feeling the embrace I had missed for hundreds of years. "I am so sorry I ever banished you.. I didn't know what went over me.." My brother seemed to be on the verge of tears. "Thranduil, do not cry.." I ran my hand atop his blonde hair. "I am so sorry, sister.." He weeped into my shoulder.

It had been hundreds of years, and all I could think of was how much he hated me, why he hated me.. But now, that I am here with him once again, it's as if it never happened.. Those hundreds of years was just a dream. I let my brother cry his tears, before smiling to him. "I am so glad to see you, Thranduil. I thought the last time we would see each other was in the Undying Lands, a place I would never want to see you for the first time in hundreds of years in." He gave a weak smile, then rubbed the backside of his hand along my cheek.

"You have not changed, little sister. You are still as beautiful, yet, you have gained maturity." "I am older now, Thranduil. Of course I have gained maturity." I giggled. He laughed slightly back. "Shall we catch up over a walk?" He asked, grabbing my hand. I nodded, and off we went. Off we went like the old days, brother and sister, racing to the horse stables, the library, all over Mirkwood. As we walked through Mirkwood, I saw the same radiating light I saw as a child when I lived here. This place was alive again, the sun beaming brightly through the tops of the trees. I was home again.
