"Wake up! Everyone, wake up!" I heard in my sleep, then was somewhat violently shoved. I sat up, and saw Gimli shaking me. "Get up!" He was saying to me. "I'm up, I'm up." I waved my exhausted arm towards him, signaling for him to stop shaking me. Gimli abandoned me, and went over to speak with Legolas. I groaned, and rubbed my face at an attempt to wake myself up. Of course, it just had to be Gimli to wake me up... The Hobbits were always the ones making bets on if I would murder someone if they woke me up or not.. Apparently, they wanted Gimli gone.. He probably messed with their blankets again. I looked with my blurry eyes to where everyone else was located. They were in a small circle, talking as if we weren't on a mission to save Middle Earth... As if we weren't in imminent danger. Aragorn caught me looking at the group, and looked my way. I looked away immediately, hiding my face upon my scarred knees.

I looked up again, slowly, so not to catch anybody's attention with my quick movements. I saw the Hobbits glancing at me, then speaking in hushed whispers. What are they planning now... I thought to myself. I sighed, and stood up quickly. I clenched my jaw as the pain hit me, radiating throughout my body. I stumbled to the closest tree, and rested upon it. "Are you alright, milady?" I heard Gimli's voice break through the whispers of the trees. "Y-yeah.." I said through clenched teeth. It was then that I remembered how I got injured.. I woke up in the middle of the night, and snuck past Aragorn, who was the night watcher. I walked quite a ways before I heard snarling, growling.. I was attacked by two wolves, but managed to kill them after getting beat harshly. I didn't dare tell anyone, they didn't need to worry more than what they have to. We were low on food, medicine, everything. I didn't dare have them waste it on a "few" scars.

I stood up straight, ignoring the pain all over my body, especially on the side of my torso and my thigh. I pulled up my shirt to see my torso, and saw a massive cut all along it. "Must have got me pretty bad, huh?" I joked to myself. I put my shirt down, then grabbed my boots from my resting spot before joining the group. There was no spot for me to sit down beside anyone, so I decided to sit against a tree only a few feet away from the group. Aragorn looked back at me, and his eyes got wide when he saw the cuts along my arm. I gave him a reassuring smile, don't ask, don't ask, don't ask.. "(Y/N), want to go hunting with me this morning?" He asked with a stern face. I saw Gimli jump up, "but, I go hunting with you! Why does a woman get to go with you?" Aragorn snapped his head around, and glared at the protester. "Because I want her to. She needs to learn the ropes of hunting. We will be back." He pushed himself up, then walked over to me and extended a hand. I took it hesitantly, and he pulled me up. I went to go grab my throwing daggers, but Aragorn grabbed my arm quickly. "Let go!" I groaned in pain, trying to push his hand off my arm. He quickly removed his hand, seeing it caused me pain. He gave me a questioning look before saying, "you don't need your weapons. I hunted earlier and found two wolf carcasses, and got a few animals. I need to speak with you about your uh.." He looked up and down my body, assessing my cuts and bruises. "Injuries."

~Time Skip, because, why not?~

Aragorn and I got away from the group, and were walking by each other through the forest. "What happened?" Aragorn asked, breaking the silence between us. I sighed, "those wolf carcasses.. I, uh.." Aragorn whipped around, and grabbed me by the shoulders. "That's what gave you these nasty cuts and bruises?! Why didn't you come get me for help, I could have helped you!" He growled in anger. "A-Aragorn, I didn't want to.." "You should have come and got me! Don't you know any better?! I told Gandalf you weren't smart with the dangers of the Wild and I was true! You shouldn't even be here!" I stood, my mouth agape. He.. He's the one who told Gandalf that.. He's the reason I spent all day reading on the animals that were contained with Middle Earth, the reason I spent time trying to learn how to fend off the vile creatures just to help.. Just to be like my brother, Boromir, and impress my father.. And Aragorn didn't even want me here! "I'm sorry.. I'll just.. Go home.." I whispered, trying to hide the sadness in my voice. I felt streams of water coming down my face before turning away from Aragorn and heading back to the camp spot to grab my things.

I packed up my things, and slung my bag around my back. I buttoned my belt with my daggers connected to them around my waist, ignoring the pain. At least Faramir will accept me.. Father, not so sure.. But, I have my brother.. I sighed. I heard Aragorn yelling my name, but I ignored him and started my trek back to Gondor.

Sorry if you find any errors!! Once again, on the verge of falling asleep. This school week has hit me like a train, I swear!!
