Chapter 34

Hunters POV

I walk up to her and she looks up at me. I smile.

"Hunter...What are you doing here?" Samantha said hugging me.

"I came to see you...are you okay??" I asked as we hugged

"I'm fine now that you are here." She said smiling.

But only if it could actually happen like that. She hates me I need to stop daydreaming about what is going to happen and just go up to her. I walk up to her and she looks up at me. I smile.

"Hunter... What are you doing here? I told you I never wanted to see you again. How did you know I was here anyway?" Samantha said as she stood up.

"I came to see if you were okay and from the looks of it your not." I said looking at her blood shot eyes.

"Listen Sam I'm sorry okay? I don't care if we never be together again but I want you in my life and you need me to in yours. Sam I will do anything to have you in my life again I miss my best friend." I said looking at the ground.

"I'm fine without you. Can't you see that. I'm only out here because I needed to be alone. Now leave!"

"Sam you're not fine so stop telling yourself you are because it's going to make you worse. Just look are your wrist you promised me you wouldn't do that anymore. And I'm not leaving" I said grabbing her arm.

"You really want to know what is going on in my life...the guy I loved shoved me to the ground and called me names then cheated on me at Playlist. On top of that I pushed the most important person in my life away because of dumb rumors that I knew weren't real. I cut myself because I'm not good enough for anyone. That's what is going on." Samantha said pulling away from me and sitting on the bench.

After that I didn't know what to say so is at next to her and hugged her. I never knew she hurt that much. Why couldn't I see that. I'm so stupid.

"I'm not going anywhere from now on even if you tell me to go I'm not leaving I'm always gonna be here not matter what." I said kissing her head.

"I love you Hunter."  She said I could tell she was smiling.

"I love you too Sam. Now let's get you home." I said as we stopped hugging.

As we walked back to Sam's house we didn't say anything to each other. We just looked at each other. I'm not loosing her anymore. I love her and always will.

Samathas POV

Hunter showed up at my spot out of the blue. How he knew where I was I have no idea but I'm glad he showed up. I really needed him. When we got back to my house I went upstairs to go to the bathroom and Hunter made us food. I walk into my room and see Hunter sitting on my bed with popcorn and a whole bunch of junk food on the bed with him. I look at him and laugh he smile at me. We watched a whole bunch of Disney movies. We both ended up falling asleep until I heard the front door open my mom and David were home. Hunter was still sleeping but I got up and went downstairs and greeted them. I helped David cook dinner while my mom went upstairs to shower. I was sitting on the barstool cutting potatoes when I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist.

"Hi cutie." Hunter whispered in my ear.

"Oh well hello Hunter I didn't know you were here." I hear my mom say as she washed her hands.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you mom he just kinda showed up earlier." I said smiling.

"Well Hunter it's been awhile since we have seen you but I'm glad you came over it's been really lonely without around making Sam smile and laugh." David said smiling.

"Well I can assure you that I'm not going anywhere anytime soon sir." Hunter said smiling at me.

I smiled back at him. I'm glad he came back. But why did he come back after everything I have done to him. After we eat dinner Hunter and I do the dishes then head upstairs. I sit at the desk in my room and start studying.

"Hey Sam?" I hear so I look up from my books and see Hunter looking at the pictures on my wall.

"What are you doing?" I said standing up.

"Looking at all the great memories you have. You look so happy in all of these. What happened to the always happy Samantha that I met?"

"She left. When she got cheated on and pushed around by a guy that didn't love or care about her." I said thinking about Tayler at Playlist.

"Come here." Hunter said putting his hand out. I take it hand.

"Do you remember this day?" Hunter said pointing to a picture of me and him in the mall.

"Of course I do. That was the day I met you. But why does that matter?" I said crossing my arms.

"Because before we met you were in a bad place you wanted to kill yourself. You would cut but the day you found me on YouNow you feel in love with me and forgot about all the pain in your life. The thing I don't understand is this last time you just cut you didn't try and kill yourself. And I'm glad you didn't but why didn't you try too?" Hunter said sitting on my bed.

"I...I don't know. I guess I just knew you would show up sooner or later to help me and you did." I said looking at the ground.

"Why didn't you call me? Why did you shut me out of your life?"  He said looking at the ground.

"Hunter I don't want to talk about this right now. I have a test tomorrow and I need to study." I said sitting at my desk.

"I want to talk about this Sam. I need to know. Why didn't you call or text me? I'm always gonna be gere for you even when we aren't talking." I heard Hunter say as I open my book.

"Maybe because I was scared you would judge me and not answer since you were with Luna. All the time. Now can I please study?"

"You know that I will always be there for no matter who I'm with. You were my first love and supporter. I will never leave you alone." Hunter said as I turn around.

"Hunter I think you should leave now. I'm done talking about everything and plus I need to study. I'll text you tomorrow. Okay?" I said standing up.

"Okay. Goodnight Sam. Love you." Hunter said walking to me and kissing My forhead.

"Goodnight Hunter." I said as he walked out my room.

As soon as Hunter left I went back to studying. When I was done I took a shower, changed into some pajamas and went to bed.
