Universal Perspective

I watched as the first of the chariots came rolling into the Capitol Circle. It was District One with the two Careers, Paisley and Eli. Paisley's hair was piled on top of her head on graceful curls with a diamond headpiece and glitter shaken into her locks. She and Eli matched each other in deep violet and black outfits; Paisley in a floor length evening gown and Eli in a tuxedo. However, to match their districts export, luxury items, the outfits looked like there was a new galaxy being born in each article of clothing. Jewels of every kind glinted and scintillated on their outfits. Paisley blew kisses to the crowd as Eli waved, earning excited screams from the girls in the crowd.

District Two's chariot rode out and they were dressed like Greek gods, symbols of power and intelligence. Daniel wore a red toga with a mock sword by his side and a golden laurel wreath on his head. Crystal wore a silver and blue Greek chiton with a silver laurel wreath in her braided hair. They held hands and waved to the crowd, showing their excitement to start the Games.

District Three entered the circle in plain black outfits. However, they were nearly engulfed in thousands of tiny lights that flashed different colors. On their heads, Dominic wore a top hat in similar light fashion but the girl, Alissa, wore a tiara with lights and diamonds all sparkling together. They smiled widely as the crowd screamed happily for them.

Then came District Four. Mike and Annalise were decked out in oceanic artifacts. Annalise had on a crop top made of thickly woven netting, seashells, and sapphires and geodes. Mike had a loose white shirt, like a pirate, and green and blue flowing pants. Around his neck he had several leather necklaces with clay beads to seashells to shark teeth. They waved and blue kisses to the crowd who cheered for them in return.

District Five rolled out in violet outfits. They were dressed regally--symbolizing a different form of their districts export, power--with Logan dressed with a white, violet, and black cape with a dress shirt and pants. On his head, he wore an old-fashioned golden and bejeweled crown. Isabella, on the other hand, had a big, poofy violet violet ball gown with a similar cloak and tiara. In her hands, she held a small silver and bejeweled scepter. They continued on as the crowd screamed their names.

District Six rode out dressed as upgraded locomotive conductors. The chariot even looked like an old train with the horse pulling the chariot conveniently dressed as the train as well. The two tributes, Makayla and Chase, were dressed like fashionable train conductors. Both in denim outfits with a sequined conductors hat on each of their heads, they waved their way forward into the circle.

District Seven rolled out--or swung out-- on a chariot that looked like a jungle tree. The boy, Ryan, had a leopard print slashed short toga on which matched Jo, whose green jungle print halter top and skirt matched her eyes and the decorative vines and flowers woven through her short blonde hair. The two swung around their chariot on vines which earned screams and cheers from the crowd.

Out came District Eight on a chariot that was fashioned like a runway for models. The two tributes, Mandy and DJ, were dressed like Capitol Citizens with big frills and sequins. There were

giant spools of thread on either end of the chariot, representing their District export, Textiles. Mandy's hair was decked up in sewing pins with ribbons and DJ had a bow tie with the same Ribbon. The Capitol Citizens loved them and adoringly screamed for them.

District Nine rolled out in a chariot with mini fields of grain swaying around the tributes. Penny wore a pale blue and yellow sundress with a pitchfork that she pretended to poke the crowd with. Colton had on overalls with a scythe that he also pretended to use on the crowd. The crowd loved their playfulness and cheered for District Nine.

District Ten entered the circle in animal print outfits. Although their export is livestock, the stylists embodied the tributes future wild sides once the games would begin. Sophie wore a tiger print dress with whiskers painted on her face and tiger ears in her dark hair. Andrew had on a big beige hooded sweatshirt with a fluffy mane of fur around the hood. With whiskers painted on his face and a slinking tail attached to his pants, he looked identical to a Lion. They both pretended to pounce at the audience and roar at them which made the crowd go wild.

District Eleven made a fruitful appearance. Their outfits were seemingly made of vines and fruit,

symbolizing their export, agriculture. On Elsa's head was a tiara of berries and grapevines and in Brody's hands was a leafy scepter with a bunch of fruit on top. Their chariot was designed like a garden of vegetables of fruit that suited their plantlike outfits. The crowd loved them and wildly screamed their names.

Finally, District Twelve appeared, igniting the crowd in screams. They were dressed in all black with flecks of pure gold woven into the fabric. When they moved it look like there are jewels inside the dull coal the black represented. It signified the hidden potential of both Simrit and Tyler when the Games would come. Even the chariot was designed to look like a mining cart.

All twelve chariots circled the square, listened to the Presidents Speech and then rode back into the heart of the training center.

The next time we would see them again in action would be the start of the Games.
