I stared at him with wide eyes.
"Oh.... ok.." I said as he sat back down with a smirk.
I slowly brought back my arm and just stared at the edge of the table.
"Hope I didn't make you feel too awkward." He said with an amused look as he scooped a spoonful from my cup.
I glared at him and snatched my ice cream back.
"If you ever do that again... I'll tell the class prez. And I heard he ordered a special casing of imported knives. Guess he has a knife fettish." I said leaning forward and resting my head in my hand giving my own look.
"Ah, that nerd doesn't scare me. I have my own fettish. It's a garage full of cars that's been through some steroid shit." He purred as he copies my movements.
We were back with only a couple inches separating us, but now it had turned into a staring contest.
He finally gave up and leaned back in his chair.
"Whatever."I had my tiny victory in my head and motioned to him to throw away the trash with my eyes.
Once he finally relented and threw the stuff away, I told him I wanted to go to the beach.
We headed off on our small city bike through the beautiful streets of Santorini. I remembered to take some photos so at every stoplight, I managed to get at least one of ten good photos.
As we reached the nearest beach, the Perivolos Beach Jaeryn said, I gasped at the unique scenery s
The beach's sand were dark and black, but the waters were still clear. There weren't as much people at the hour since the sun was going down now, so this was the perfect time to be here.
I hopped off the scooter even before he parked it, and ran towards the beach.
I ripped off my shoes and shuffled my feet through the sand as I went closer to the shoreline.
"Well aren't you eager." I heard from behind.
"Jaeryn." I said turning around. "The sand is fucking black. Why are you not as intrigued as I am?" I asked.
"Science. Science is the reason why nothing ever intrigues me. Well... maybe with the exception of you." He said as he winked at me.
I "caught" the wink and stomped on it before "shooting" it back to him.
I turned my attention back to the beautiful view as the sun was finally setting.
"Hey, we should get back soon. It's going to get dark." He said.
"Is that nervousness that I hear?" I asked with a teasing arched eyebrow.
"I have no shit what you're talking about. I'm perfectly fine." He said plopping down and played with the sand.
"Hmm.." I said unconvinced.
"Being afraid of the dark is as lame as sleeping with a nightlight." He said, still shuffling his hands through the sand.
I scrunched my eyebrows trying to make sense of what he said.
"That's the same thing." I said with an amused face.
"I've never seen you so flustered.""Fuck you, I'm not flustered. I don't get... flustered." He said throwing some sand on me.
I shrieked and jumped up and began to kick sand back onto him which ended him getting piled in the light sand.
I laughed as he complained and shook the sand from his hair, watching him slowly getting up, dusting himself.
I didn't see him coming when he suddenly grabbed my waist and started running for the water.
