We arrived ten minutes ago, and now we're staring off the metal railing and into the deep blue waters.
Carter called before saying he got suck in traffic somewhere and expected it to be another ten minutes to wait for him to arrive.
I bought us gelato from a nearby shop near the docks, and we ate as we watched people pass by.
"I don't want this trip to end. It's like a never-ending dream. I never thought I would be able to come to Greece." I sighed.
"I know. You emphasized." He chuckled.
"Do you even know what we're here for? I haven't looked at my packet since I got it honestly." I laughed.
"Same. I thing I left the part I ripped out in my dorm." He said.
There was a comfortable silence as we watched the surf crash onto the rocks.
Sure enough, ten minutes later, Carter showed up with his sleek car in front of us.
"Ok, I'm here, let's go." He said, after hearing the locking honk of his car.
We went to the ticketing booth near the boats, and confirmed our ride before hopping on board to the massive ship that carried cargo and cars.
We went to the highest deck on ship where the captain was just a few doors away.
I took some pictures, then urged the boys to take a group photo.
"This is stupid." Jaeryn complained.
"We don't need group pictures. The rubric didn't say we needed any." He said, recalling the packet I sent him before when we were waiting.
"Yeah, we don't need it, but at times like this, these moments are supposed to be cherished. And never forgotten with pictures. As they say, pictures last forever." I said, asking a nearby couple to take our pictures.
I hooked my arms around their necks, as they grabbed my back or slipped an arm around my waist, and gave the biggest smile I could give.
I thanked the couple and looked through the pictures.
I smiled at the first picture, but frowned at the second.
I looked up to Jaeryn who met my glance.
In the second picture, he was staring down at me with a smile on his face that I've never seen before.
The ship horn blew as we moved off the docks and towards the tiny island far off.
I broke our gaze and went inside our room.
I set the camera far away from me as possible and made me do all sorts of things not to think about it too much.
I slowly started to read a book from the bookshelf by the bed, and didn't realize that my eyes were slowly drooping.
I eventually fell asleep because the next thing I remember is waking up in the bed cozily wrapped by the blankets.
The sky was still beautifully blue, so I guessed I wasn't out for more than an hour.
I washed up a little before heading out for a drink.
I ordered a lemonade when I got there and took a deep breath.
I didn't notice Jaeryn coming up behind from the thoughts that were bouncing in my head.
"I'll order a beer." He said to the bartender as he leaned against the counter.
The bartender didn't ask any questions and went right into the kitchen.
"You know where we're going? I'd rather not stay by the port with our bags for an hour trying to figure out where we're going." Jaeryn said.
"Of course. There's a hotel nearby, and I already called them ahead and told them to expect us there. So, we'll drop off our bags and then look around." I said opening up a brochure by the counter.
"Okay, the captain let me know before hand that we'd be landing in ten minutes or so, so get your bags and meet me down. I'll be waiting." Carter said suddenly showing up with his bags in his hands.
I sipped my lemonade one last time before I headed out to our rooms where Jaeryn's and my bags were resting.
I felt him following quickly behind me, and followed me in the room.
"You know, theres a cafe that I know that's along the way. We should stop by." Jaeryn said waiting by the door.
"You've been here before?" I asked surprised, gathering my bags.
"Of course. This was one of the first places I visited when I came to Europe, bunny hunny." He snickered.
I cringed my face and stared at him.
"Bunny hunny? Sweet cheeks, now bunny hunny? You should stop before I throw up." I said.
"Why? A cutie deserves a cute name right, buttercup?" He said.
I rolled my eyes and slapped him hard in the arm.
We went down together and met Carter by the railing.
We watched as the boat neared the busy docks and slowly parked itself in.
We followed the crowd and made our way to the city.
The walk was pretty fast, and before we knew it, we were in front of our beautiful hotel.
We checked in and grabbed our room key, sending all our bags.
Then we headed out from there to the place Jaeryn was talking about.
The cafe was a small cozy one with pretty lights hanging from the interior. There were couches and a study space within a space between glass walls, and nice wooden tables with matching chairs.
I grabbed us a table as they went to order.
I took some pictures of this place, and of the view of outside which was of the soft scenery of some green hills and a field of flowers.
This place wasn't somewhere you could find by just walking around. It was somewhere you had to know from sources. And as much as that goes, there was a reasonable amount of people in here too.
They both came back with our order which consisted of a small cake to share, and our separate drinks.
I was going through the messages in my phone, and smiled at the daily texts from Seidon and Caprian. Seidon was having so much fun in Italy, sending me pictures of everywhere fun they went.
I smiled at Seidon's cheeky smile as he was with his group members when they visited the beach.
"What is going on that you're smiling like that?" Carter asks.
"Just looking through some of the other places the other people had to go to." I said distractedly.
"Hey, guys, we should visit the beach. Oh, and there's a historical museum too. We should definitely go there." I said putting down my phone.
"Sure. Whatever." Was Jaeryn's only reply.
I get a notification from my messages and am really surprised to see that my mom texted.

So this chapter was extremely boring.
It also took forever to write this boring chapter. Who knew writing such a boring chapter would take so long?
I literally had no idea what to put in this chapter, so I totally understand if you seriously hate this chapter. Same.
Anyway, thanks so much for reading!!!!
