I slowly came out of the car and watched as Caprian's face shined in the car's headlights.

"Hey... " He said as he came closer.

"Hey, what brings you around here?" I said watching as Violet pull out. I think she winked at me.

"You think your mom will mind if I borrow you for a moment?" He asked smiling with his head tilted to the side.

"Sure, what were you planning." I asked linking my arms in his and snuggling close.

"Hm... I was thinking dinner? You hungry?" He asked, walking us to his car that was parked on the side.

He drove me to a restaurant off the main road and turned into a side road.

"Can I ask where we're going?" I asked with my eyebrows high.

"Nope." He said simply.

We drove for another ten minutes when he stopped in front of a small house in the middle of nowhere.

"You know if I didn't trust you completely trust you, I'd be just a little suspicious." I said looking around anyway.

He smirked and opened the door and headed towards the door so I carefully did the same.

It was a brightly lit, open-spaced house with all my favorite people gathered around the couches.

"Bitch we were waiting so long I was going to just order food without you." Kaili said coming to hug me.

"Kaili?" I laughed in disbelief and gave her a tight hug. "How are you here?"

"Let's just say long story short I got an anonymous text demanding I come over and now I'm here." She laughed looking over at the Pan brothers.

"Even Jaeryn Pan. What an honor." I sarcastically bowed to the sitting grouch.

"Whatever. I was told there was going to be free food." He said throwing popcorn into his mouth.

"We thought you could use a couple of familiar faces." Seidon said going in for my second hug.

"I did... although... it's only been a couple days." I laughed.

"Couple days of hell." Kaili snorted.

"I was helping out with the business and stuff." I told them. "I was kept busy."

"Whatever, can we eat? Like is there only popcorn in this house?" Jaeryn asked annoyed, opening every cabinet in the kitchen.

"Who's house is this anyway?" I asked looking around.

The house was a lot bigger than what it looked like from the outside, with open space in the living room, but it was still a pretty small house with only two rooms and only one bathroom. It was that mix of cozy winter house yet somewhat... not.

"This was our vacation home when Jaeryn and I were small enough to share a room. But no one comes here anymore, so thought we could put it to use." Seidon said shrugging.

I could see the large lit up pool in the backyard illuminating the dark.

"Seriously though. Where's the food? That's literally the only reason I came here." Jaeryn glared at Seidon.

"Mm... I'm grateful. Really. Love you too." I scrunched my face in sarcasm.

"We're making our food today. Or what'll be the point?" Caprian said holding up bags of groceries I didn't notice before.

"What are you thinking? I was thinking cereal? Maybe even ego waffles since you're here." Seidon joked.

"That sounds great. Honey Oats for me." I said fishing out the cereal box that was popping out from a grocery bag.
