CHAPTER 6
There had been a mysterious picture, a deja vu. That happened this morning when Wayne had came to visit me. I looked out the window and saw the bushes moving, quite quickly when I turned to look right at it. Like a mice running away from the home owner when it scents that a human is in the same location the little creature is in. I ran to every window, door, and outside to get the house key from under the rug from my door entrance. I was frightened, worried, almost close to a heart attack. This stalker, knew my address. It was not safe at all for me because my mom wouldn't be able to reach home too early, simply because she worked downtown, about 2 hours away from our home. So if anything happened by any chance, she wouldn't be there to save me. My only hope right now was Wayne. He had suggested earlier that me -and my mom, could live in his house till we knew we were safe.
I wasn't sure either I wanted to live with my boyfriend or not, simply because I would find out things I really don't want to know about, meaning personal life crap and so on. I didn't want to wake up in front of him looking ugly, messed, or all of the above. But I did want to see him every day, with the sun shining and my smile flashing.
This quick day dream flashed in my head, pleasurable day dream. I was walking in Venice beach in California, then suddenly reach to Cabo San Lucas. Two beautiful places, with the perfect person. We were enjoying everything, almost nothing not left out. And then all of a sudden the pleasure able memory became not so pleasant after all. Some how Maddie came along, almost looking like she was going to go all cat woman on me. With that aggressive expression with her jet black hair, and her strong structured face. Her bones were more visible then usual, almost too visible that it didn't look real, but it did as a matter of fact.. Made her look like a real life anime.
The day dream was over, and it left me off with a miserable frown.
I silently, most carefully, looked out the window. There was a little piece of paper out in my backyard, placed in between the wooden fence. I opened my door, backyard door, then placed my foot to the segment steps. My foot flinched at the coldness of the steps, then went back down. I took my first step out, and flinched again. But this time, it was only because I think I had seen something! I walked backwards back in, almost at full shock at what I had seen, I fell down because I had forgotten that the back yard door had another step further. So I fell there, crashed my head right against the over powered segment compared to my head. I lay there still half of my body outside in full shock. Because I saw a girl, a girl with red hair, it looked natural, but I still wasn't sure if it was natural. Her hair was as red as a fire truck, real red. I think opened my eyes, unsure of what was happening around me. I had fell asleep, or fainted outside the door steps. No one was around me, I quickly grabbed my phone out of my pocket and dailed the polices number. Now there I was lying down, not even sure if I was actually calling someone or just day dreaming, wishing for someone to help me.
I woke up, and I was on a bed, a moving bed! "What's happening?" I asked the blurry person I couldn't see properly, but was aware that it is a female. "Hunny???!!!" The voice was familiar, and I was aware that it was my mother, probably stunned that I 'd woken up or something. "Here's a prescription, buy all these materials to prevent your daughter from getting into another concussion." I'm guessing the doctor said. I didn't remember anything that had happened after my concussion, I remembered how I had gotten it, what I had did before, and what I had seen. But the after memory had been faded out of my head like you slip harem pants on. I sat up, and was ready to get off the bed to just go to the washroom, until I was stopped by Wayne.
"Hello." He said, but then added, "How are you feeling..?" with a face expression that was very uncomfortable. "What happened to you?" I asked him. "I told your mom.. About your stalker." He said with guilt. "Ugh, wow." I said in a low voice. No wonder she was freaking out. "You should really start telling me these things.." My mom told me. "Well, I probably would if you wouldn't freak out so often." I said in defense. "I know sweetie, but it's hard not to freak out when my baby is going through pain. How are you feeling?" She asked with a frown on her face. "I'm definitely confused.. Doctor can you please tell me what happened? I remember what happened before, but I forgot the rest." I informed him. "Well, your mother found you in the back door of your backyard laying on the steps. She bring you here, and then you started saying things such as "Go get her." and "Stop!" now right now I'm confused right now, but if you do decide to tell me what had happened earlier, please do so." He suggested with a smile. "I saw something unusual in my backyard, and recently weird things have been happening as to which I think what caused this. I've been receiving weird, unusual texts I haven't gotten ever, and from my thoughts I believe it's from somebody that's been stalking me because it started when I was at a park with this guy." I pointed at Wayne. "He's my boyfriend. Um, the text's, and as well as a note have been quite threatening. I mean it has been as far as "Beware." and so on.
But I didn't have time to read the note because I fell from trying to catch someone that was in my backyard, and I pretty much think the person knows where I live." I informed him just because I'd hope he'd understand everything. "Have you informed the police yet?" He asked me. "Well, I hadn't informed my mom till today... Well, I didn't inform my mom Wayne did. But now I am planning on informing. I don't want anything to get out of hand." I told the doctor.. I didn't even know Sr name.
I was able to leave the hospital after a day. They tested to see how bad the injury was on my forehead, and said it would take at least a week to heal. I wasn't aloud to go to school until it healed. And of course that was the first thing that day that actually made me happy. I reached home and went straight to the backyard door to see if I dropped the note by any chance. It wasn't there, nothing was there. It was all dark so I didn't notice if it was still at my wooden fence.
I lay down on my bed and fell asleep right away. I had a dream of the same thing that happened today at the backyard. But this time, it was Maddie that was running away from my house because she was in my backyard. Her blonde hair had gotten caught in the fence door and she was stuck, unable to get away. I grabbed a big chunk of her hair and gradually pulled her down against the floor, where the lime green grass made her hair look like nothing, but it only complimented the lime green grass. I called the police and told them that "someone broke into my backyard, and was doing something there unusual that I was unaware of. But, all I knew was that she was doing something, something bad. It was only her Barbie blonde hair that made her look innocent. But deep down, there was a little demon in her.
