CHAPTER 9
1 week later..
I walked inside the main doors of my school and saw Wayne immediately. It was like all I saw was him, and I never noticed anyone, when I was around him. He held my hand and whispered in my ear. "Welcome back." He smiled his wrinkled smile. We walked to my first class and everyone's eyes caught me. Like it was noticed I was gone, but the way they looked at me was like I've been gone for a year. "Have fun." Wayne laughed. "Gee, thanks." I sarcastically responded. I saw Wayne leave with a bunch of his friends and noticed something that I wasn't so thankful to be back, Maddie. It isn't jealousy, it's her attitude, her.. Somewhat body, that made her look like a Victoria Secret model. I was scared to see that Wayne was so close to Maddie, and maybe one day, I might loose him.
Class started, and I figured after a while I was totally lost in what the teacher was teaching. He told me he would give me papers, and tests. I was honestly expecting it, but.. I just wanted to hear it. I took notes, and this time, I wasn't worried about how neat my writing was because I just had so much things to do. Having a boyfriend, missing a week of school, it was just too much for my plate. Mr. Henry told me he'd take it easy on me since it wasn't too healthy to stick bunch of nonsense in my head to remember after a concussion. But still, after I heal, I'll have to do the work I missed out on, and as well as the work everybody else is working on.
After English, I had cooking. Yay!
