Another chapter from me! ;) I hope you all enjoy this. I've got a chapter for Time Bomb and What Do I Do, Without You? in the works.

Also; I'm currently beta'ing a story called 'The Mortician's Daughter' and I'll be beta'ing it's follow up story 'Forever Indy'. Both are written by my irish twin @NOMyourfaceNOM so I really suggest that BVB fans go and check them out. Enjoy, vote, comment and maybe fan pretty please? :3 ♥

And go check out iJareth's stories please. She's also been another inspiration for this story ♥

When I woke up the next morning, I glanced at the clock. It was 5am exactly. I threw the covers off me and I opened up my laptop, clicking on Skype. Amelia's name clicked up and I sent her a message to give me five minutes.

I grabbed my skinny jeans and a purple off the shoulder loose top. I slipped out of my pj's and got myself changed, sorting my hair out as I clicked the call button on Skype. By the third ring, Amelia had answered and the first thing I saw was a huge grin on her face.

"Oh my god. Last night was fucking insane!" I laughed at the excitement in her voice as I sat down at my desk, watching her with amusement.

"Do tell." I giggled as you saw the grin on her face get even wider if that were even possible.

"Well. At the meet and greet we got to hear sound check. They performed God Bless You and Rebel Yell. Holy crap it was amazing. I was in tears. I wish you could have come with me so that we could have gone together." I smiled sadly at this as she continued. "Ashley noticed that I was crying whilst they were performing and he raised an eyebrow at me, silently asking if I was okay. I was in shock, so I couldn't respond. I was too shocked."

"Lucky you. Any girl would kill to get the attention from Ashley Purdy." I mused quietly and she shot me a wink. I couldn't help but laugh.

"But when we met the boys and had the signing first, Ashley held my hand and squeezed it tightly, telling me that I'm a strong person." I could hear her voice crack ever so slightly and I knew that she was going to start crying.

Within seconds I watched the screen as tears rolled down her eyes.

"Oh Amelia. What are we going to do with you?" She laughed before sniffing.

"Meeting them was just so surreal." I grinned at her.

"Talking with CC felt so surreal. You met your idols whilst I spoke to my hero." We both laughed at this.

"He was literally like 'Can I please speak to her? She sounds amazing.' I was in shock for a second before nodding.”

I shook my head and smiled.

"So what's up with this extra credit?" I groaned before remembering that Chris may have already replied.

"Well my English teacher has given it me to help keep my grades up. I've got the next six weeks off to sort out my portfolio as well as build a relationship with my pen-pal. I'm quite excited."

"Have you emailed them yet?" I nodded my head and Amelia let out a squeal. "What's his name?"

"His name is Chris, he's 26 and he is a part time drummer. I'm yet to check the second email he should have sent back." I watched Amelia as she rustled around before popping back up on screen.

"I look forward to meeting him when you guys meet up." I could see a sly smile and I resisted rolling me eyes.

"What were you looking for?"

"Oh just a lil present for you from certain heroes of yours..." She trailed off grinning. I raised my eyebrows as she held up a signed poster as well as drum sticks and guitar pick's.

"You are fucking kidding me?! How the hell did you bag those?" I looked at her in awe as she pulled an envelope and started to put the items in the envelope.

"I just asked. No biggie." She shrugged her shoulders whilst sealing the envelope. She then wrote my address on the front and I let out an excited squeal.

"Christ girl. I fucking love you!" I practically yelled before I glanced at the time. If I wanted to be out of the house soon I had to sign off and reply to Chris now before I left.

"You have to go?" Amelia's voice was sad, but I grinned at her.

"Unfortunately. But we'll talk later before you go to bed, I promise." I grinned to her. We exchanged our goodbyes before shutting down Skype and I opened up my emails. Low and behold, there was a new email from Chris.

Hey Kia.

I hope you don't mind me calling you that? It's a really pretty name I must say. It sucks monkey balls that my name is so popular, I'd love to have a unique name.

You have got a point there but still. Most chicks think that any males online are 40 something paedophiles. :P

You're a gig photographer? Man. When we meet, I'll talk to my tour manager about having a personal photographer. There would be amazing shots which would make you lots of money because most ofthe time we simply act like twats and/or act like children.

Good colour choices. They work well together I must say. Mine's probably black and green. I love the colour green.

So you're 21? How come you're in high school still? You don't have to tell me if it's something personal.

Nice to know I'm paired with someone who has an amazing music taste. The bands I love run along the same line, but I don't do pop-punk. I think the only pop-punk band I can stand is A Day To Remember really.

My favourite animal? A giraffe. What about you?

Technically I'm based in LA, but currently I'm on tour and my band are in England. What about you?

Also; can you give me a description of yourself? I won't ask you to send a picture because that's just a tad creepy, even by my standards.

Talk soon!

Chris

I couldn't help but laugh. I had a thought before I typed out my reply.

Hey Chris.

It's all good. Most people call me Kii or Kia so it's nothing new :P
I have to say, most chicks act blonde or are blonde so they don't get the fact that not every guy online is a rapist. And I'm putting my faith in you on this one otherwise I will go all ninja on your ass and you'll regret lying to me. xD

Yeah. Gig photography is my passion, seeing as I'm just in love with music and I love taking photos, it just seemed natural to go into that business. Oh that would be awesome if I could do that! It's been my dream since I was like 11 to travel with a band and just take memorable photos.

I'll get you into more pop-punk, I promise. xD

I basically have crappy teachers who really want me to fail at life. Either that or my parents are involved with keeping me from graduating. It is so frustrating it’s unreal!

My favourite animal has to be a Tiger. They're beautiful, graceful creatures and I've just fallen in love with them. If I wasn't into gig photography, I'd be photographing those beautiful creatures.

I'm based in San Diego, California. I have travelled a lot but I'm happy with where I am right now, though one day I'd love to take a trip to LA.

Erm, I don't really know how to describe myself. I'm average weight I guess, I have blonde hair which reaches mid back, I'm 5'6. I guess some would call me cute, but I'm not entirely sure. I have dark-ish blue eyes as well.

What about you? What do you look like? Without meaning to sound so stalkerish.

I hit send before picking up my camera equipment, as well as my phone, keys and helmet before I headed down to my bike.

I stored my camera equipment in the seat of the bike before I slung on my jacket and started up my bike. Before I knew it, I was breezing down the highway to get to the beach so I could capture the sun rising over the sea.

Now plenty of people have gotten that shot, but for me, I just want to capture the moment, the colours, the natural beauty. No editing, nothing. Just a pure photo.

I parked up close to the beach and I carried my stuff with me as I walked up one of the sand dunes, sitting on the top as the sun started to climb up. The way that it looked, it looked as if it were rising from the dark sea, finally giving off the beautiful light that had me entranced.

I positioned my camera and waited for the sun to climb slightly higher so that it was simply hovering on the water. I knew I had a few minutes so I wasted no time as I clicked down on the shutter, letting the small contraption capture the beautiful image of the early morning.

When the sun had risen higher, I simply watched the beach as people started to set up for the day, the different places opening up to serve hot beverages as well as cold ones.

I took this as my opportunity to go and I pulled my jacket back on before heading back down to my bike with the stuff. It wasn't before long I was back at home, the warmth inviting as I pulled off my jeans and curled up in my bed, falling asleep once more.

When I next woke up, someone was banging on my door. The irritating banging went right through my head so I walked to the door, checking through the peephole. It was none other than my mom.

I opened the door and let she barged right in, not even muttering a hello.

"We need to find you a man. This is ridiculous Kiana." I rolled my eyes as I moved to my kitchen and made myself a coffee.

"What's ridiculous?" I muttered and she shot me a glare.

"Waking up at midday is not acceptable missy. You need to get your act together!"

"I was up at 5am thank you very much! Don't you dare start about timings when you're not perfect yourself." I warned her, my eyes narrowing into a glare as she simply shrugged.

"I get up at reasonable times, not at midday child." I let out a huff in frustration. It seemed that she was completely ignoring my earlier words.

"I was up at 5 this morning mother." I glared at her and she sat down, completely ignoring me.

"We need to find you a man who will get you up and out of the house, working like a woman should be. Not this silly sleeping in nonsense."

I felt my irritation build. This was the problem I had with my parents.

"Mother." I snapped, my irritation finally breaking. She looked at me and raised her eyebrow.

"Just because I do not live with you anymore does not mean you can still contradict my life. I have made a job from my hobby. Why can't you be happy?"

"Job? You call what you do a job?" Her laughter was cold. "It is nothing but a pansy way to get pictures of other people. It is not a job child. When you obsess over those stupid little bands it makes it so much worse." She turned her head away from me, disgusted.

"I'll have you know that the money from that job brought my flat. It brought my bike, it brought my equipment. Do not do this to me mother." I shot a glare at her.

"I will do as I please Kiana. You have no rights in ordering me about."

"And neither do you! If you forget, I am 21 one, I am a legal adult!" I put my coffee down, my hands running over my face as I let out an exasperated sigh.

"You are far from being an adult child. You do not go through the daily life of a regular adult-" I cut her off by this point.

"I go through the same motions as every other damn adult. I get up, I got to school, I come home and then I go to work. I am not 18 mother. I've been through loss and pain, I've had promotions and I've had good days and bad days. I am like every other adult in this damn town!"

She narrowed her eyes at me and shook her head ever so slightly.

"This shows that you haven't grown up, you're picking a fight with your own mother."

"You started this, barging into my home, causing friction and arguing with me." I retorted quietly, my temper declining.

"Oh, don't go playing the blame game sweetheart." I watched the creepy smile cross her features and I simply shook my head.

"Get out." I watched with a smug satisfaction as her face fell ever so slightly.

"What?"

"I said get out. You clearly don't care about me. You just want me to become just like you so you can pass all your faults on to. It's not going to happen. Get out of my house."

"Don't come crying to me when life bites your ass."

"I said out!" My voice rose higher on the last word and she didn't hesitate to leave my flat. I slammed my hand on the table before I stormed into my room.

Throwing myself onto my bed I let out a frustrated scream before I went back to my laptop.

I wrote down all of my feelings and close the page, letting out a sigh as I lay back on my bed and let the tears come once more.

I hated how she reduced me to this. I hated her so much.

I was going to prove her wrong. I’m not letting her beat me.
