Chapter Thirty Two - Girls Night Out Gone Wrong

~Angel's POV~

With our hands still laced together Jack and i headed into the living room where Harley was laying on the couch. I didn't feel bad at all for what i did to that freak, not one bit. "Is he dead?"Harley asked as she sat up and looked over at us. Jack started laughing as he pulled me closer to him. "I'm gonna take that as a yes." She smirked, getting up off the couch and walking over to us. "So Mistah J, i was wondering if Maddie and i could go out for a bit." She asked with her best innocent grin. Jack immediately stopped laughing and growled in annoyance, well i can already tell what his answer is. "Are you stupid?! Maddie is still injured and has just woke up." He answered in an annoyed tone. "Please J. I'm fine, really." I pleaded. He growled again and clenched his fist. "Fine." He mumbled, but we both heard him. "Thanks." I whispered as i kissed him on the cheek. He smiled warmly at me then gave me a quick peck on the lips. "Just don't get into any trouble this time. I don't need any more of my allies to get pissed of at me."  He said to Harley as we headed upstairs to get ready, but she didn't reply. We went into our separate rooms and got ready. I changed into my suit, put on my mask, slipped on my combat boots and put my guns into my holsters. I quickly tied my hair up into a pony tail and walked out of my room. I knocked on Harley's door and called out her name. "Ok Puddin, i'm ready." She smiled as she opened her door. She is wearing her red and black jester outfit, that's probably my favourite of her outfits.

We both waited outside for Selina and Ivy to come pick us up. After about five minutes Selina's car pulled up and we both hoped in the back. "How are you feeling Maddie?" Pam asked as Selina sped towards the city. "A little sore, but that's not gonna stop me." I said confidently. "So what shops should we go to?" Selina asked as we arrived in the city. "Oh, let's go to that really big mall across from the park. I really like that place." Harley said excitedly. I've been to that mall a few times, sometimes to steal stuff sometimes to buy stuff, and there are some cool stuff there. "Alright then, Gotham City Mall, here we come." Pam said as we all cheered. The drive wasn't long, and we parked around the back in the staff parking. We got out of Selina's black car and gathered all our stuff. "We can enter from the top. The windows on the third level down don't have alarms on them, so we can go in silently." I explained. I've robbed the shops in this mall many times, and i know where all the alarms are. "Let's go then." Ivy pulled out a few seeds and dropped them onto the floor, then suddenly large sprouts shot out of the ground and towards the windows. Selina grabbed her grappling hook and shot it to where Ivy's plants where heading. I spread out my wings and grabbed onto Harley then flew up towards the windows. Once we were all up there, Selina cut a hole in one of the windows for us to all crawl through using her claws.

"Alright ladies, where to first?" Ivy asked quietly once Harley and i had crawled through. "Ooo, i want to go to the jewelry store!" Harley shouted as she ran towards the shop across from us. Crap i forget to say that there are night guards everywhere here. "Harley wait!" I cried after her but i was too late. She had already broken the glass window of the shop that immediately set off loud alarms. "Hey!" Shouted one of the guards as he and four others ran towards us. Thanks Harls. "Run!" Selina shouted as we turned away from the guards and ran. "Wait! Harley." I turned back around but was then instantly hit in the head by one of the guards. I fell to the ground, but as i was about to get up the guard that hit me quickly put handcuffs around my wrists. Dammit. I looked over towards Harley to see she was in the same position i am, on the floor in handcuffs. I turned my head to other way to see Ivy and Selina also in the same position. Suddenly commissioner Gordon and his crew walked over to us and we were taken outside into their police cars. "You lot are being sent straight to Arkham." Gordon said as he closed the car door behind me. I've never been to Arkham Asylum before, because i've never been caught before. So thanks to Harley today's a first. It took about twenty minutes to drive to the asylum, then once we arrived i was pulled out of the car and pushed towards the entrance. in front of me was Harley and Ivy, and behind me was Selina. We were taken inside and arrived at three different hallways. Ivy was sent down one on the left, i'm guessing that's where they keep the inmates with 'special abilities'. Harley was sent down the one on the right, where i'm sure they keep the real crazy ones that need extra security. And Selina and i were pushed forward down the middle hallway. I'm surprised they didn't send me down with Ivy since i have 'special abilities' too, but i guess they don't know that.

After a bit of walking i was finally pushed into a cell, but Selina was pushed further down the hallway. All the cells have one concrete wall at the back, and the other three walls are thick glass, with an iron door which had a small sliding window. I guess that's how they give me my food? I don't know, i've never been here before. The asylum has a creepy eerie feeling, one that sends shivers down your spine. I guess they don't really want to give the inmates a happy welcoming feeling.  Suddenly the door opened and three guards walked in, quickly closing the door behind them. They took all my weapons off me and gave me a body search to make sure i wasn't hiding any, then they handed my uniform. "Put it on." One of them said with no emotion. "Could you at least give me some privacy?" I asked. They then left the cell and waited outside the door. The walls are made of glass, so the guards and all the inmates around me could still see me change. I hate this already and i haven't even been here for an hour. As quickly as i could i changed into the white shorts and singlet top, and put the orange jumpsuit on top. I banged on the door and the window opened, and i handed the guards my clothes. With that, they walked back down the hallway. I turned around to examine my cell. A small rusty bed sat in the far corner along the wall and a small toilet sat across from it in the opposite corner. A single light bulb hung from the ceiling, and a small sink sat on the wall near the toilet. This is horrible. I've had fellow criminals tell me that you're not a true criminal if you haven't been to Arkham Asylum, and i always thought that was true. All up until now. Least now i know i wasn't missing out on anything. I walked over to the bed and sat down and looked to my left  at the cell next to me. A smile spread across my face at the familiar face next to me. "Floyd?" I said, loud enough for him to hear me. "Devil? Never did i think i would see you here." He chuckled as he stood up and walked over to the glass wall closest to my cell."Well, here i am."
