After the discovery of the shield, the two quickly threw it into the car and continued to drive down the road. Each of them silent because of their small prior argument and just the fact of not knowing what to say. Until Sam finally deemed it time to talk. "We have to be getting closer to something."

"No, it's probably a trap." Dean shakes his head.

"Of course it was, because Hydra, who's hardly out here, left it buried in the sand. So if they wanted us to find it, they wouldn't have left it out in the open. No! They'll bury it in the ground where we can't see it, dang their plans really are getting better!" Sam sarcastically rambles on.

"Oh wow Sam." Dean grumbles. "Real mature."

"Wow Dean, nice comebacks!" Sam quips. "If you can't see that there's something close, then you are completely blind to everything!"

"Sam, listen to me. If I knew that there was something besides a trap, I would've kept looking in that area but Hydra would be stupid to leave a clue just laying there out in the open without it being a trap." Dean tries to explain without taking his eyes off the road.

"Dean, they would've gotten us by now if it was a trap!" Sam quickly shoots him down.

"How do you know that they aren't waiting?!" Dean questions.

"We don't! But that's why we started this journey, I mean we wouldn't have come all this way if we were afraid to do anything!" Sam argues.

"Son of a bitch, Sam! Can't you just fucking listen to me?!" Dean screams while slamming on the breaks.

"No, not when you're stupidly wrong!" Sam replies before climbing out of the car, Dean doesn't argue as she goes to the back and grabs both of her duffel bags before coming back to grab the shield. "I also know how that didn't sound right but I don't give two shits."

She doesn't let Dean reply and slams the car door before walking back down the road towards where they had found the shield. Dean sighs and rubs his temples before slamming on the gas to continue down the road, his hands gripping the steering wheel in anger.

Sam

Sam walks down the road with both duffels hanging off her shoulder and the shield lazily strapped on her left arm, surprisingly the magnets were actually on the back of the shield itself when Sam had picked it up; she just didn't think Dean needed to know.

When Sam finally made it back to the spot where the shield had been buried, she drops the bags down into the dirt before dropping to her knees to snoop around  where the shield itself had been buried. After a few minutes of just sifting through the dirt, Sam just gives up on looking through it. As she leans back, her eyes look around the area; trying to find something....anything that would help her to be...right.

Something about half a football field in length sat away from Sam, it looked like a door carved into the rock that someone had tried to hide but was in a hurry so it wasn't done very well. Quickly, Sam scrambles to her feet while grabbing her bags and the shield before sprinting towards the area where she saw the door. Only slipping and sliding occasionally.

"Finally, I knew there was going to something!"

Dean

An old car sat on the side of the road, looking almost like a mini van. For some reason, it caught Dean's attention so much that it caused him to literally swerve off the road and into a large rock; denting the front of the car.

"Shit!" Dean screams while hitting the steering wheel. After a few seconds, he turns the key to start the ignition, nothing happens. "Nononononono! Baby please!"

Still nothing happens and without any tools to fix the car, Dean climbs out after grabbing his stuff; his mood darkening when his eyes land on that damn mini van.

He walks over, spotting the keys in the dirt a few feet from the car and continues walking in that direction while flipping the keys in his hand.

Dean drops his bag next to the car and leans in just to see if it will start, to his luck/dismay it actually does.

"Great, I'm a soccer mom now." Dean grumbles while grabbing his bag, throwing it in the back before turning the wheels to continue down the road but then he stops.

Sam was still over there, alone. He knew he was sent to protect her and he was told it was his one job. Dean couldn't leave her there even if he wanted to.

"Son of a bitch." Dean grumbles before spinning the wheel, heading back to the spot where he left Sam behind.
