Renesmee stood in front of the Salvatore family tomb where Jo was tied up, with Liv and Luke. There were staring at Kai, who was drawing a line on the ground with a stick. The line marked the anti- magic border.

"What is he doing?" Liv asked dumfounded.

"He is probably playing tic-tack-toe with himself like a crazy person." Luke explained not looking away.

"He is not crazy. Remember, he is kind of saving your lives with this merge thing." Renesmee shot back.

"Why are you helping him anyway?" Luke asked. "If you haven't noticed yet, he is a psychopath."

"You and your coven made him that way." She deadpanned.

"This is the anti-magic border right here, right Ren?" He asked looking at her.

"Yep. Which means that Jo can't use her magic on that side of the line." Renesmee explained her voice softening a bit.

"Let me out of here!" A high pitch scream was heard from the tomb. All four heads turned towards the sound.

Jo was awake.

"Sissy's up." Kai said throwing the stick on the ground and walking inside. Liv followed closely behind making sure that Jo stayed alive. Renesmee and Luke were now alone.

"Why don't you go inside? Kai and Jo doing the merge is suppose to be a big deal for you too, right?" Renesmee asked the blonde boy, but did not get an answer. Luke just sighed.

"Merging is my duty towards the coven, I am not afraid of it. Generations did that before me and Liv. She has to understand that we just have to do it. For our family."

"Liv loves you. She does not want to lose you. I would do the same thing. I would try to find a way for both me and my sibling to live. You can both live if Jo and Kai do the merge. You are too young to die." She said and made her way into the tomb.

"Just take the magic Josette." Kai was now growling.

"Kai. Try to stab her. Her magic is in the knife after all." Renesmee said the thing that has just crossed her mind.

"He tried." Liv said holding onto the injury on her sister's shoulder.

"Then try again. Duh." She said making Kai smirk at her. He swayed the knife in the air stabbing Jo in the stomach. His movement was followed by a scream.

Once she calmed down, Jo asked Kai and Renesmee to leave her and Liv to have a private conversation. Kai shrugged and they both left. The two spotted Alaric and Damon. Damon widened his eyes at the sight of a girl.

"Renesmee! Thank God you are alive! Are you..." His sentence got cut of by her voice.

"I am fine, Damon. It's good to see you." She smiled sweetly.

"You! What did you do to Jo?!" Alaric yelled at Kai.

"Nothing. But it might leave a scar." Kai noted out just to tease. Alaric started running towards him, but Kai stepped over the border.

Renesmee giggled once she saw how Damon was throwing stones at the grave Kai was hidding behind.

"Why the hell are you laughing? He tortured Jo. You should be helping us." Alaric said and Renesmee glared at him.

"I do not care about your girl. I pick my own company, so your enemy can just as easily be my friend." Both Damon's and Alaric's mouth dropped once they heard that.

"Kai? There is a very strong spell keeping Mystic Falls in a bubble. I think it might be useful to you." She called out skipping the border and sitting next to the siphoner. Damon widened his eyes at the sight. She was supposed to die.  She crossed the border. Then it hit him.

She was born this way, it does not effect her.

"Thank you, princess." He smirked placing his hands on the land forming a red light.
