Chapter 3

Ruki's P.O.V 

As soon as we arrived at school I grabbed Lucy's wrist and dragged her inside. I wanted nothing to do with her but if doing this kept her alive then I would have been able to sleep at night. As soon as we arrived on the roof I slammed her against the door and pinned both arms on each side of her head. As she made eye contact with me she glared.

I didn't counter react. Instead, I stared at her and tried to figure out how to tell her about the reason why I brought her here. If I said it the wrong way she risked her life but even if I told her in the nicest way possible, it was going to somehow be wrong. Especially knowing how she is.

"What the hell are you doing?" She had been cursing at me.  I guess she really had been angry.

"Remember that mission from last year?" She nodded. " The last mission on it stated that a star and a light must meet to make one." Her eyes widened. 

"The paper changed again? I finished everything for it so how did it change?"

"When the spark left, the owner of the mission sensed it and wanted to fix it. " I let go of her and let her think. 

"A star and light must meet to make one....so that means that we have to create one." A faint blush dusted her cheeks. "I am supposed to have a baby with you?" She figured out the riddle, I always forgot how smart she was. " The person really thinks that will work? That will create the spark again? That doesn't even make sense?" She looked at me straight in my eyes." I'm not doing that with you." She said blatantly. I arched a brow before I pinned her against the door. 

"Are you going to do that with Laito?" 

"Ruki"

"If so then I don't care but if you do that, you will not be able to return home unless you are dead." I sunk my teeth into her neck. She tried to push me back but I pushed her back against the door. Once I finished I backed away and glared at her. "I only brought you back just for the job, anything else you think I feel for you is nothing." I pulled her against me and bit the left side of her neck. 

"Ruki please stop" Her blood had a sweet and addictive taste to it. I loved it. I yanked down her uniform and began to bite into her left shoulder. 

Lucy's P.O.V

I hated the pain and I hated him. He made me feel as if anyone I trust, I couldn't. I wanted to fight back but now it had been hard.  What made it worse had been that he had been back to hiding his emotions from me. I was not going to be able to figure out anything else now. " I tried to move away from him but stopped as fear ran through me causing me to freeze. I fought my emotions and spoke.

"Ruki please just let me go." He grabbed my wrist and slammed me back against the door. He moved his head in between my neck. The bell rang stopping him from biting me. I pushed him away and ran to the other side of the roof. He only looked at the door before he looked at me.

"The paper said that you would die if you left again without completing the mission." I shook my head.

"I can't"

"You have no choice." He left and went to his class and she followed him. 

I sadly still had the same class as him and knew that I would be stuck in his watch. 

Lunch

I opened my book and started to read it when I stopped. I had already lost my appetite and this was the only I would do but it had been so hard when he had been near. I looked at Ruki to see him speaking to his two female lab partners and took the chance to escape. As I walked down the hall a familiar face appeared. He smiled before he walked up to me.
