When you were little you could meet someone and instantly become best friends with that person, that's how it was with me, JD, Julio and Jayvion, we just clicked we were all in the same grade and next year we'd all be going to the same school; that was bad news for anyone who tried us but for the most part we'd be on our best behavior. "Mama Angela we just went to the park, nothing harmless we just wanted to give the adults some space..... y'all usually tell us to leave anyways but when we do y'all get mad at us. But can I just say that for a woman who is in her 30's you look about 18....." Julio said and I could she Miss Angela melting under his compliments.

"We went to the park..... where's your little boyfriend at?" I asked trying to hide my anger, there was something about that dude Quamir that I didn't like he just seemed dangerous and I didn't like how fast him and Kylan were moving.

"He's with my dad and Domo.... they went to the liquor store or something, I don't know why because Uncle Khalil has a whole bar in his grotto but whatever I think my dad wants to talk to him....... have you called mom today?" Kylan asked and for a second I was confused.

"It's her birthday...... Fuck I forgot but she's probably drunk and high, I'll call her in a few minutes but Kylan...... never mind I'll talk to you when you're not high." I said.

Somebody yelled from outside and of course everyone ran to the sound of the commotion where JD was standing with that chick Milan while his mom Vanessa looked like she was ready to beat her ass, the woman in the passenger seat got out and both me and Kylan gasped.

"Mom?!?!?!?!?" We said in sync.

"Hey y'all.... Milan girl hurry up I'm trying to hit the club, my kids are with their daddies and I'm trying to find a baller. Hey Devin, Hey Nico or whatever your name is......." My mom said waving at Devin and Blaze.

"BITCH ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTION WHY ARE YOU WITH MY SON!!!!????" Vanessa yelled.

"Y'all just need to go on with that mess, Justice you need to go get checked out because I can see the crabs crawling off this one......" She said pointing at Milan. "And you..... what is that perfume you're wearing Essence de la période (Essence of Period) with a tiny hint of fish." I wanted to laugh but this was my mom so I'd hold back my laughter until later.

"I'm only going to say this once, please leave my property......" Khalil said and though his tone was even I could see the anger boiling under his eyes. I looked at JD who was still shocked that his dad used to fuck with the woman he's been seeing for months and I could tell that shyt hurt him to his core........

"Fine will go..... JD call me later sweetie." Milan said smiling as her and my mom started walking to the car, but then my mom stopped and turned to me.

"Cortez let's go......" She said smiling maliciously. "And before you even think to argue you don't have a choice in the matter, now bring your ass......"

"Man he's not going anywhere with you." Kylan said stepping in front of me. "Mom come on we're trying to have a good time, look here..... go out with your friend and have a good night, it's your birthday you shouldn't be in a bad mood." Kylan said handing her a hundred dollar bill.

"You know what Staci..... Kylan is right we should go have a good time, but before we go........" Milan said turning and punching Miss Angela in the head then swinging on Vanessa....... after that all hell broke loose....................................
