Right before the sound check, the B-Brave Manager, Cees takes Dioni aside and tells him that there's a special girl that they should bring up on stage and make her sing Tot in de Nacht with them. Dioni asks why but all Cees will say is that she's an American who knows all the B-Brave songs in Dutch and that she has a voice like an angel! Dioni is intrigued so he agrees.
During the soundcheck, the introductory music to the song Tot in de Nacht starts to play and Dioni remembers what Cees had asked him to do. Dioni looks offstage and finds Cees who motions to Dioni where she is in the crowd and shouts to him what she's wearing...
(The intro music for Tot in de Nacht continues to play...)
Dioni : Wait a second... Stop the muziek... Stop the muziek! Stop the muziek!!
(The music stops and the guys look on, curiously. Dioni walks over to the edge of the stage right in front of Rashelle, makes eye contact, points to her, then puts out his hand as an invitation
Dioni : [In English] How would you like to come up on stage with us?
Rashelle : Oh my god! Really? Uh, Okay...
Dioni : Be careful, watch your step...
(Rashelle comes up on stage with their manager, Cees and one of the security guard's help. Kaj then takes her by the elbow and gives her his microphone and tells her to smile and wave to everyone... she does. Then Dioni walks up beside her looking smug with a mischievous glint in his eyes.)
Dioni : So first, what's your name?
Rashelle : (trying not to laugh or cry) Rashelle.
Dioni : You're American? Is that right?
Rashelle : (looking confused & overwhelmed) Yes, that's right.
Dioni : What part of America are you from?
Rashelle : (she says trepidatiously) : Um, California.
(The crowd all oohs and awwws and Dioni snickers at their response.)
Dioni : A California girl! Alright, alright... I love California! (he says and the audience all scream in response)
Dioni : Where in California do you live?
Rashelle : I grew up in Sacramento, but I live in Los Angeles. (the crowd screams noticeably louder and cheers for the Californian from LA! Rashelle is surprised by the reaction and laughs.)
Dioni : A California girl from the City of Angels.
Jai : Hot!
Samuel : Hot stuff!
Cassius : Going back to Cali, Cali, Cali (he sings by the Beastie Boys, then Jai joins in) I'm Going back to Cali, Cali, Cali, hmm, I don't think so! (Dioni grins at them.)
Dioni : So... you live in California and you're an American.
Rashelle : (looking sheepish) Yes.
Dioni : (in English) Obviously you speak English, but do you speak any Dutch?
Rashelle : (again, still waiting for the punchline) No, I don't. Well, I don't know very much - close to nothing. (she admitted)
Dioni : (in Dutch) Dus als ik je vertellen dat je een zeer sexy dame, je hebt geen idee wat ik zeg?
~ Translation : So when I tell you that you are very sexy, you have no idea what I am saying? ~
(The crowd roars and screams their approval of hearing one of their heroes say the word "sexy.")
