Dioni's shoot was highly entertaining and highly challenging. Apparently, his favorite face to show the camera was always one of two extremes... There was a serious one which tended to make him look angry, or there was a completely scrunched up one whenever he was laughing. Rashelle started to worry if she'd ever be able to capture something in between, but lo and behold, her tenacity paid off and she got some really good ones of Dioni not only making heart eyes that would make his fangirls swoon, but quite a few with nice, soft smiles that made his eyes sparkle instead of squint.

She also managed some full body shots that didn't distort his narrow frame making him look like a blow-pop head or a dwarf with tiny feet. With Dioni, she had to pay extra special attention to proportions because the last thing she wanted was to make him look gaunt or frail. He was a pretty thin guy and almost a head shorter than all of the other guys, but those were not things she wanted to accentuate. She wanted to capture his marvelously sculpted physique and the warmth behind his baby brown eyes and that peach fuzz mustache was just too sexy for words if captured in just the right light with just the right expression. And voila! Dioni was finis!

Rashelle thanked him profusely and he gave her a hug and a triple cheek kiss in appreciation for her tolerating his antics and then he freed the stage up for Kaj, and after him, Cassius. Kaj and Cassius were fairly easy. She had to wait an extra beat for them to get past their phony smiles and plastic poses, but the real stuff was very close to the surface and they both seemed too tired to put any exerted effort into trying to figure out what they thought she would want. So in the end, they just let her work her magic and gave her exactly what she needed. Done and done!

Then there was Jai. Jai was the baby of the bunch and also, one of the silliest. He was very polite and much better behaved around her than all the others and very respectful. In the end, Jai was nearly as difficult as Dioni though because he was actively trying to outguess her and kept doing what he thought she wanted. She had to play with him a little, show him that she wasn't too serious and humor was definitely the way to his comfort zone. Eventually, he mellowed out and loosened up enough to show her his true self and she got some awesome insider shots. He was such a sweetie and towards the end, he actually was a little bit shy. She captured as much of that as he would let her and then she called it a wrap. It didn't get much better than that!

And then, finally, her last subject of the evening, who also promised to be her most challenging yet... Samuel.

In the last year and a half since she first discovered B-Brave, Samuel had managed to rise to the top of her favorites list. Something about his offbeat personality and his brilliant blue eyes that seemed to see so much and it set him apart from the others. He was very frequently the butt of their jokes because he was always just a beat behind the others but also a lot more sensitive. Rashelle perceived him as having the heart and soul of a true artist and like most artists, Sam was always stepping to the beat of his own drum and never bothered with any pretense of ever doing otherwise. Rashelle had a great respect and admiration for Sam and his dedication to his craft, to his bandmates, to his fans, and especially to his own heart. He seemed like such a deep thinker and described the world in a brighter, more vivid light than most other people. Rashelle recognized these traits because she shared most of them herself.

When Rashelle dismissed Jai with a hug, he stole a quick kiss on her cheek before he scampered off and that made both of them giggle. Sam was easy to find as he had never left for very long the entire evening. She had to make a concerted effort to ignore his presence as she focused on her current subjects. Almost every time she glanced over into the corner by the folded chairs, however, he was there sitting in a slouched position, his sweatshirt hood on his head, staring at his phone. As soon as Jai was done, he ran up over to Sam and Rashelle could just barely hear their hushed voices as they conversed in Dutch.
