Part 3 : Melkweg ~ Gold Records

After a few more songs and some silly antics, the soundcheck wrapped up and the boys all said their goodbyes and Rashelle was left in the concert hall with all the other girls who were lucky enough to get first dibs at front row spots. It wasnt' too long before the doors opened and all the other patrons were allowed to enter and before you knew it, the Melkweg was overflowing with giddy fans!

It was so exciting when the house lights went down and the stage lit up with five big video panels, each with a different guy moving around like models wearing all white. The bass was so loud, you could feel it throughout your entire body and it was thrilling to be there amidst a crowd of crazed fans as a countdown began from 10 to 1 and then pow! All of a sudden, the five silhouette outlines of the guys appeared on stage. It was them!!! Holy cow! What an entrance!!

And then the lights came up and there they were - all five boys dressed in all black with white on their shoes and bits of sparkling silver details that glistened under the stage lights. The looked so awesome! Then Jai began to sing and they they all began to dance in unison to the beginning part of Waddup and then they posed and froze while the part with Cho played on. They looked amazing! How did they get looking so much hotter in that short space of time between the soundcheck and now? They're stylist must be incredible!

And then Sam began to sing all five of them started walking closer to the edge of the stage - closer to the audience! Rashelle was so enthralled, she couldn't move. She just stood there in awe, eyes wide with a great big smile on her face! They're dancing was on point and then all five of them were on her side of the stage and right in front of her. They were so close, she could almost reach out and touch Cassius who was in the very front. Rashelle didn't even realize she was screaming until she heard her own voice crying out, "Whooo-Hooo!"

At the close of the song, all the guys lined up in center stage behind Samuel and the next song began - it was Hallo and as soon as they all began to sing, they jumped out to both sides and then switched and it was the coolest thing she'd ever seen! Rashelle loved watching them dance. They were synchronized so well and you could tell that they enjoyed performing together which was a good part of their appeal! They all froze in place, assuming poses staggered apart from each other in a line across the stage. When the music to the next song began, they stayed frozen in place until the first line of the song - it was one of their new ones from the Los EP, Zij On Fire. It was a really good song except for the line in the chorus which was in English...

"Cute face, little waist and a big fat ass!"

Rashelle could certainly tell that they were not American! If a band said that in the US, the women would be all pissed off! You never call a woman's ass fat! Even with the event of the Kardashian's and Kim's famous derriere, to refer to a woman's backside as big and fat was not exactly an endearing term. Oh well, Rashelle thought, she could tell the B-Brave boys were expressing appreciation of the female's big and fat ass so what the hell! She sang along and danced to the rhythm which you could not sit still to even if you tried!

When the song ended and Cees started bringing out microphone stand, everyone new right away what he next song was - Vanavond is Van Jou - and the crowd went crazy! It was so loud, everyone in the entire audience must have been singing along, and Rashelle couldn't help but join in. This was one of her favorites and obviously, it was everyone else's as well. She thought their voices sounded amazing during the soundcheck but this... this was unbelievable! They sounded so clear and their harmony was beautiful - Rashelle was beside herself - completely overwhelmed by the experience!

And just when she thought it couldn't get any better, the second time Kaj sang his solo, he crouched down on the edge of the stage right in front of her and looked her straight it in the eyes and sang to her. Rashelle was taken aback. Oh my gosh! Kaj just sang to me! Awesome!!! After the song came to an end, Dioni addressed the crowd.
