ch.9 White Kinght in the Dark

Ch.9

(Jade POV)

I stayed up all night watching Jeff. Hoodie told me to take a break but I didn't want Jeff to be alone. I had to change his bandages when he woke up.

I smiled at him "Feel any better?". He nodded "Yeah thanks for helping me". I giggled "It's the least I can do for you. You guys did take me in after all". He smiled a little. I helped him upstairs to his room and then went back downstairs to the kitchen.

Slendy, Ben, Hoodie, and Masky were all sitting there. Slendy put a hand on my shoulder "Um, Jade, we have to talk about something. It's about when Jeff and I were almost killed". I sat on a chair and looked up at him "What happened?".

Ben sighed "It was a long long time ago. Some of the creepypasta were you know seen and attacked. Then the White Kinghts were created. They hunted us down and killed a lot of us. We were close to vanishing from this world. Then the rest of the creepypastas fought back and a war broke out between the White Knights and the Creepypasta". Hoodie added "W-we won o-of course". Masky nodded and spoke with cheesecake in his mouth "Yep and the White Kinghts just became a memory. But now they are back for us".

A chill went down my spine when he said that. Slendy nodded "Sadly. We had thought they were all wiped out but I guess not. We have to be very careful or else next time they could kill one of us". I nodded "W-what are w-we going t-to do?". Ben sat down on a different chair "We stay low and keep a low profile". I frowned "What if they find us?". Masky smiled "We'll be fine".

I wanted to believe Masky but something just didn't let me.

I went upstairs to check on Jeff. He was up waching tv. I smiled "I guess you feel better?". He nodded "Yeah I'm fine. So I heard did they tell you about the White Knights?". I nodded "What if they attack again?". He rolled his eyes "Don't worry. I was just caght off gaurd". I walked over and sat next to to him "I'm just scared". He sighed and grabbed my shoulder and pulled me to him.

My face was on fire. He was doing it again. Why is he acting so...so...nice?

We sat like that which felt like forever. It felt so right when it was so wrong. I sighed "Jeff, what happened to you? What made you become a killer?". He layed down and took me with him. He shrugged "I was bullied for as long as I could remember and one day I just as you say...snapped and killed my bullies and...my parents and little brother. I was alone and I was for a long time and lost most of my sanity but I walked into the woods and found this house and Slendy. They took me in so fast kind of like what we did to you". I smiled "I'm glad I came here".

I closed my eyes ready to go to sleep when I heard Jeff whisper "I'm glad too". I don't think he knew I was listening. My cheeks burned. Why is he acting like he likes me? Does he? No no he's a killer. Killers can't love. Can they?

(Jeff POV)

Jade finally went to sleep. I put her softly on my bed and got up and slowly closed the door behind me.

I headed downstairs and found everyone in the living room. Masky smirked "So hows it going, Mr.Softy". I glared at him "Shut the hell up". Hoodie chuckled and Ben rolled his eyes "Dude, you are in denial". I looked at him "Denial of what?". Ben started looking frustrated but Sleny cut him off "He means you are not accepting your feelings". I sat down on an arm chair "Feelings of what?". Ben smacked me in the head "Your feelings for Jade you idiot". I rubbed my head "Oh just fuck off". Hoodie smiled "Y-you are J-Jeff". I glared at him "No one asked you". Masky snapped "Stop being a woose and ask her out already". I growled "Shut up! I will NOT ask her out. Damn it". Ben smacked the back of my head again "Be quiet you morons! You'll wake up Jade". I shut up but I was still pissed.
