ch.28 Jeff It's Over

Ch.28

-Jade POV-

The door finally opens and the next thing I know I'm tackled off the porch to the ground by a red and blue streak. I smiled "Hey Ruby hey Eric". Ruby had tears in her eyes "Where'd you go, Jade? We missed you". Eric nodded "Yeah you were gone for a long time. We got worried". I patted both of them on the head "Well I'm back now and I have some new friends". I nodded towards Darren, Jimmy, and Reth. Ruby and Eric ran to them shaking their hands. I rolled my eyes "Guys these two trouble makers are Ruby and Eric and these guys are Darren, Jimmy, and my brother, Reth". Ruby smiled "Nice to meet you". Darren gave an uneasy smile "You too". Jimmy hid behind Reth and when Ruby and Eric's eyes landed on Reth they pulled out their weapons and gave him death glares.

I ran in front of him " No no no kids, he's a good guy now". I patted Reth's head which got me a glare but Ruby and Eric seemed convinced enough to put away their weapons. They walked in and gave Reth the 'I'm watching you' look. I chuckled at them and we all went inside.

Everyone came running at me giving me hugs and asking random questions about where I was and about my eyes. Jane give me a bone crushing hug crying her eyes out while Anna laughed at her and hugging me. I missed those two a lot.

Mary want to me and gave me a hug "Oh it's so good to see you again, dear". I smiled "You too". Then Slendy appeared in front of me and hugged me, lifting me off the ground "Oh Jade don't ever leave again". I laughed "Don't worry I won't".

When Slendy put me down I looked around then asked "Where's Jeff?". Everyone be some quiet and looked up the stairs. I didn't say anything but I did nod and started to walk to the stairs.

Then Darren put a arm around my shoulder and smiled "This place is amazing". I smiled "I know right".

-Jeff's POV-

I could hear that she was back. Everyone sounded so happy and thrilled to have her back but I couldn't face her after everything that's happened.

I peeked out my door and saw Reth and some other guy who had his arm around MY Jade.

It was all my fault but I'm determined to get her back. No matter what I'll get her back.

I opened my door and walked down the stairs and glared at this stranger. They were all smiling and laughing.

I coughed loud enough to get everyone's attention. Jade smiled when she saw me. That smile I loved so much. She laughed "It's great to see you again Jeff". She gave me a hug and I looked down at her "You too. Who's your new friends?".

She giggled "The little boy is Jimmy. The new guy is a creepypasta demon fox named Darren and last but not least my brother Reth". I looked at her like she was crazy "B-brother?".

She nodded "Yeah can you believe it? Don't worry he's a good guy now". Reth smiled "Hey um yeah sorry about trying to wipe you off the face of the earth and all that". I nodded "Uh no problem I guess".

This was fucking weird. We have a kid, a stranger, and an old enemy we fought against more than once.

I looked at Jade "Can I speak with you...alone?". She nodded and I lead us out of the room to my room.

She looked up at me "What do you wanna talk about?". I looked away "Us. What are we now?". She looked down "We can still be friends". I looked straight into her eyes "I don't want to be friends. I want to be more". She had anger in her voice when she spoke "I'm not ready to go back to what we were".

This irritated me and my own anger started to show in my voice "Is it because of that Darren guy? You barely know him". She growled "I barely knew you so why can't I care about him". I groaned "We don't know if he's working with the Knights". She glared at me "What about Angela and besides Ben knew him for a while and I trust Ben. Now if you excuse me I have to talk to the others on how to get Ben back. Good bye Jeff".

She was about to walk out when I grabbed her wrist without thinking "Please Jade give me another chance to make it up to you". She pulled her wrist away "It's to late for that. It's over Jeff". Then she walked calmly out the room

My mind went blank except for her words running over and over again in my mind. My heart dropped to my stomach. 'It's over Jeff' that's all I could hear. I mumbled "It's over".

I felt tears run down my check. I never thought I had tears to cry again but I guess I did.

-Jade POV-

After I closed the door to his room I pressed my back on it. My heart hurt. Even if I did miss being with Jeff I can't just forgive and forget. It hurt to say those words to him but what else could I have done?

I walked downstairs with a fake smile trying to ignore the pain in my heart. Right now I had to focus on finding Ben.
