ch. 27 Home At Last

Ch. 27

-Jade POV-

I know I should feel special for being a hybrid who's suposed to save the creepypastas with her brother and all but to be honest I was scared. I have never killed anyone. I might have knocked out some teeth and broken bones but never had I killed anyone. I stared at the mirror. My once red and black eyes were now blue, red and white. What was happening to me?

Reth put a hand on my shoulder and closed his eyes then opened them. His red eyes were now blue. I had to admit it was cool. He smiled "It's okay. We're in this together. You do have dreams of mom and dad right?". I looked up at him "Just of mom. You?". He nodded "I have dad. So the only thing we have to do is go to this place your going and figure out everything". I nodded "Yeah okay but my friend Ben is still missing and I'm really worried that something bad has happening to him". Reth shrugged "I'm sure he's okay".

I sighed and looked at the mirror one more time "I hope your right". We walked out and went to the couch. Jimmy was sitting there playing with Darren. He looked up at me and smiled "Did you color your eye?". I shook my head and laughed "No but do you like them?". He nodded "Yeah they're really pretty". I messed up his hair with his brown hair "Thanks". His light brown eyes were big and his smile was wide. He was soo cute.

Today was the last day and then I go back to the manshion. Sure I was nervous but how can I face everyone after what happened? I don't even have the heart to tell them that Ben was kidnapped.

-Ben POV-

Has it been a day or a week? I can't tell anymore. I've been stuck here and nothing happens. Nothing changed. Angela still worried about April but I can't blame her. They have been trying to get info from me and let's just say it wasn't pretty.

We get weird food that has most likely gone bad but hey food is food, right? Whatever.

I was really sore and tired. All I could really do was try and sleep. Just to close my eyes but it hardly worked. The stupid warden as I call him just snores so loud all the time and it pissed me off.

I wanted to go home. I really just hope the others find me.

-Jade POV-

So today is the day. I'm going back but I have Reth, Darren, and Jimmy with me. I was still freaking out in my head. I was still nervous to face everyone. Reth was nervous too because some of them might want to kill him but Jimmy and Darren were so excited.

I talked to Reth about Ben and he said he might have been captured and held in a Hunter base and he helped figure out a plan to bust him out of there. We just needed the help of everyone so Ben had to wait. I just hope he was okay or even alive for that matter. It really hurt to think that way but I couldn't help myself.

I packed all my things and looked at the apartment one last time. I was ready. I could do it.  I promised myself to be brave. I always told myself that when I was a kid. All these years have finally payed off and now I'm with my brother on this all saving the world destiny shit but hey it happens. Sounds cliche right? Well I hope it ends the way I hope it will.

I took Jimmy's hand and we started for the Blood Rose Mansion. Most of the way it was quiet. Reth and I caught up while Darren and Jimmy walked ahead talking and laughing about random stuff.

Then I saw it. The mansion. I stopped while everyone walked farther. I looked up at it and smiled. I'm finally back were I belong. I actually feel....safe.

I remebered the first time I came here. Now things were different. There was going to be a war and it was coming fast.

I walked to the porch and walked up to the door. I froze for a second or two but then knocked three times and then took a few steps back. With Jimmy, Reth and Darren behind me I was ready. Now that I was finally awake. All I could think about was seeing everyone again....even Jeff. Then I was snapped out of my thoughts as the door slowly opened. I was home at last
