ch. 20 Kidnapped

Ch.20

(Jade POV)

We finally reached my apartment and there I told Ben everything. I even showed him my picture. He got angry at the part when i cut myself but other than that he seemed interested in my little story.

My phone rang and I saw Jane's number. I picked it up "Hey, Jade". She yelled "WHERE ARE U?". I flinched "Oww I think you popped one of my ear drums". She laughed "Sorry, so where are you?". I smiled "I"m in town and guess who I found? Ben". She gasped "As in Ben Drowned?". I laughed "Yeah and so yeah that's really it". She sighed "We miss you and Ben a lot and Anna kicked Jeff's ass". I felt a small pain in my chest when I heard his name. I mumbled "H-how's he doing?". She snarled "Being a total ass if that's what you mean". I laughed a little. Ben grabbed my cell phone "Hey Ben here.....yeah I'm fine......JEFF DID WHAT!?!.......he's down right cheating almost.....whatever see ya......yeah bye".

I sat on the couch. Ben smiled "How bout you and me go out for a walk tonight". I nodded "Being Soul Stealer?". He smirked "Bring Soul Stealer".

-night-

Ben told me to met him at the edge of the forest. I wore my hoodie to keep warm. It was just the beginning of Spring. Yeah it was a new year and I was going to turn 18 in the winter. So at least I have that to look forward to.

I walked a little into the forest and saw ben without his contacts and he had a short cutting knife. He smirked "Let's go. I want you to meet someone". I nodded and followed him as he walked deeper into the woods. He smiled "You'll love him. He's a pure blooded Fox Fallen. He lives in the woods so I visit him now and then". I smiled "Cool. What's his name?". Ben looked at me "His name is Darren". Cute name.

I mental slapped myself 'NO NO JADE BAD. Your still with Jeff, I think'. My thoughts drowned in thought. Does Jeff still like me? Is he with Angela?

These questions raced inside my mind.

We've been walking for forever it seems. Ben stopped at a big cave and smiled widely "We're here". I nodded and he went inside the cave. After a few minutes a wolf sized white fox walked out. He had blue markings and had nine beautiful tales.

He walked near me and smelled me almost like he was approving of me. Ben peted the fox "Jade this is Darren. Darren this is Jade".

The fox went behind a tree and after a few minutes a boy with only shorts on walked out from behind the tree. Darren was tall and lean. He had white longish hair that was spicked in the back and had a blue marking on his forehead but he also had his fox ears and 9 tails. He was just so beautiful I couldn't say a thing.

Darren smirked "This is the famous Jade? She's more beautiful then how you discribed her". I flushed a light red "Ummm t-thank you". He nodded "Anytime" and gave me a quick wink.

I can tell he he was very well put together but he still wasn't better then Jeff but it was a close second.

I felt a little pull from Darren. It felt like he needed to be by my side. It was weird because it can't be anything unless he's the guy who's going to help me. Mom better be right about this.

I looked into his blue eyes that were a blue that I've never seen before with a little mix of gold. He smiled "I like your eyes." I covered them and blushed like an idiot. Damn I forgot about my weird eyes. He laughed "They're cool". I looked up at him and smiled "I like yours too".

(Ben POV)

Ohhh they're hitting it off already. Too bad for Jeff. Jade is so awesome. Anybody would be lucky to have her.

The day is saved by Cupid Ben.

The way Jeff's been neglecting Jade was unacceptable. He even made her cut. I should kick his ass the next time I see him.

I watched as Jade and Darren talked about something but I was to busy thinking about ways to kill Jeff hehehe. I left those two talking. IT WAS TIME TO KILL!

I walked into twon and looked for a victum. There was a school kid. High school guy jock thing person. WHATEVER I'm gonna kill him.

He walked down the street. It was cold a little, very dark, and no one was around. So perfect for a good kill hehehe. I walked behind him quietly so he wouldn't turn around. I pulled out my knife and waited. His breathing became uneasy and nervous. His body was shaking a little. Ohh how I love the way people react to me following them. He stopped walking and there I saw my target. The guy turned around with a fist and puched me square at the jaw. I stayed still laughing. I grinned "You shouldn't have done that" and the last thing you could hear from him was a scream.

(Jade POV)

So Ben ditched me and Darren walked me to my apartment. It was pretty late so I told him to stay the night.

He told me about his past. That his parents were both Fallen but died of some illness or something. Ben found him wondering through the woods apparently.

I sat on the couch and turned on the tv and watched Adventure Time. The Fionna and Cake version. I loved it. Darren sat next to me and seemed fascinated by the show. I laughed to myself because his eyes were practically glued to the screen. He looked up at me and flashed one of his beautiful smiles "I haven't watch a tv in years. It's amazing". I nodded "So how long have you been in the woods?". He shrugged "For like 5 years. Started when I was 13. Ben saw me like a few weeks ago and gave me a phone. It took me forever to figure out how to use it though". I laughed and took out my cell "Whats your number?". He smiled.

We switched numbers and talked about memories of the past. He asked about my scars and I told him everything. I was so nervous to tell him but when he saw them he just smiled and showd me his wrist. There was one scar there. I smiled at him and for once it was a real smile.

I was aware he was still shirtless but I didn't have anything that fit him and Ben ditched us so he just stayed shirtless but I do have to say he was hot. He had broad shoulders and a 6 pack. When I realized I was day dreaming about Darren I blushed a deep red. My mind kept reminding me of Jeff. I promised myself I'd call Jane and ask her about how everyone's doing.

We watched more tv and it was like past midnight. Darren looked at me and smirked and changed into a little cute 9 tailed fox. I looked down at him "Awwwwww, so cute" and I picked him up and started petting him. I smiled down at him "How'd you do that?". He gave me a fox chuckled "I have four forms. This one, my bigger wolf, and my somewhat human one, and then my human one. I prefer my neko one because I was born that way". I cuddled him "I prefer this one". I layed down on the couch still holding little fox Darren. I sighed "I wonder how Jeff is". Darren hissed "He's a fool for hurting you". I smiled and held him closer "Thanks, I guess your my newest friend". He smiled and snuggled next to me. He was so little and cute hehe.

(Ben POV)

I was walking back to Jade's place when I felt like someone was following me. I could feel like someone was right behind me.

I turned around and saw a shadow disappear. I shrugged it off and thought it was just a human walking home late. But I felt a needle go into my shoulder. I hissed in pain and pulled the damn thing out. I used my ghost powers to turn invisible. Then the shadow came out and looked like he was looking for me.

Then a sharp pain hit my shoulder. Poison. It was on the end of the needle that hit me.

I felt weaker every step I tried to take. I finally fell and became visible again. The last thing I saw was the dark figure smirk and then my eyes fell.
