Climbed to the roof
Fluffy doggy nestled into my lap with a woof
Popped an ice-cold beer
The sun set in a fiery, colorful smear
I thought I would miss you
But now I think it's you going boo hoo hoo
Feeling good tonight
Like a bird that's taking flight
More alive than I've ever been
Across my face stretched a huge, wide grin
Feeling like I shed a heavy fur coat
You tried to sink my boat
But I'm unstoppable
Dragging me down is impossible
Warm inside and out like the mist from a hot pot of tea
I think the single life is for me
