Zoey's POV
The next day, when I get up, Chloe is still fast asleep. I'm a little worried about her, Is something wrong with her?
I go downstairs and confront Eragon who is sitting on a couch next to Element.
“Do you guys think Chloe is okay?" I ask.
“Chloe? she's fine," Element says.
“She woke up from a coma yesterday and today she is still asleep. How is that okay?"
“I'd sense it if something was wrong with her," Element says.
“We both can tell if something is wrong with you. That comes with being your Guardian," Eragon says.
“That's more than slightly creepily. Okay, I need you to go check on her," I say.
Element gets up and leaves.
Eragon smiles at me. “She'll be okay."
“Are you sure? Could something have happened to her when she was in a coma?" I ask
“Well Element will find out."
Eragon leans toward me and kisses my lips. "You're both safe, my dear. I promise."
