Adventures with Jake Foushee

"Bye mom!" I yell as I slam the door.

I open the garage and get into my car. I was going to lunch with my friend laurel.

I drove about 15 minutes till I got to panara.

"Hey laurel" I smile at her

"Hey" she smiles back

"Whatcha been up too?" She asks

"Nothin much ya know? You?"

"I got a job at Starbucks, they said I can have free drinks" she brags jokingly

"You lucky. You Better get me some later"

We both chuckle.

We order at the front and sit down. We sat in silence for a while enjoying the food.

"Are you going to the high school get together?" Laurel asks

"Um, I don't know, it's only been like 4 months since we've left that place" I laugh.

"Can you come with me then?"

"Ya sure. It's tomorrow right?"

"Ya, I can pick you up if you want."

"K, wanna get dessert?" I smile at her

"Wanna go to Starbucks?"

"I thought you'd never ask" I say dramatically

We finish eating and get into the car. We get our coffee and dream bars and we both head home.

"Hey, I'll see you tomorrow" laurel says

"Yep see ya"
