Adventures with Jake Foushee

Weeks after

I've stayed home for a week, not doing anything. But today I'll get to see jake.

Parents obviously driving.

"Are you ready?" My mom asks

"Yep" I say back

My mom and I ride off.

She drops me off at his house. I knock on the door.

"hey" he says

"Hi"

We talk for a while of what's been going on. Then we sit down and watch a movie.

I lay my head on his chest.

~Jakes POV~

We sit down and watch a movie. She lays her head on my chest. I've missed her so much.

I feel so bad of what happened. I feel like it's all my fault.

"Tell me what I have to do" I say

"What do you mean?" She asks confused

"To make it up to you" I say

"I can't get it out of my head. It's like it's kept on replay"

"Jake, if you want to 'repay' me, then forget about it" she smiles

"Jake" she says

"Ya?"

She looks down on the floor.

"I have to, go away for a month"

"What why!"

"I have to go to physical therapy for my foot. I haven't been walking normal, and it's getting worse"

I could see a tear was going to be formed.

"They say if I don't go in now, I won't be able to use my right foot."

I hug her

"It's gonna be ok" I say
