Adventures with Jake Foushee

Waking up

*beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep*

I start to see white, I felt so free and uplifted. I was going up into the clouds. About to reach gods hand.

*beep *beep* *beep*

It felt like I fell back down into a bed, falling away from god.

I start to open my eyes gently. I finally get them open.

"She's awake" a voice says

My mom rushes to my side

"Honey are you feeling ok?" She sounds worried

"Ya" I stutter

"How long have I been out?" I ask

"2 days" my dad says

"Dad!"

I was so glad to see him back from his trip. I hugged him and asked

"Is jake ok?"

She looks over to the door.

"He... He is in a coma"

My eyes open wide and I can hear my heart pounding

*beep* *beep* *beep*

You can hear on the machine my heart beat accelerate

"Alright" says a nurse

"Let's put you back down"

She lays my head back into the pillow.

"You better get some rest" the nurse says

I fall back asleep.
