Chapter 21

"JAKE! Tell me you didn't do it!" I say

"I didn't!" He yells

"TELL ME! Did you sleep with that girl or not?!" I yell back

There was a long silence between us

"Yes" he says quietly

My legs give up and I fall to the ground

"This is it, I'm giving up on you. I can't do this any more" I state

He stares at me for a moment nods and starts to leaves. He stops in the door-way and says

"I think it's for the best" he smiles like he's happy it's over

He closes the door behind him and I sob and sob into my sleeve

I then wake up startled

Breathing heavy

I feel a tear role down my cheek

"A nightmare..." I say

I head down stairs shaking

I text jake and ask him if he wants to come over

*want to hang out today?*

*sure I'll be over in a sec*

I walk up stairs and lay down on my bed

Minutes later I hear a knock at my door and jake walks in

He lays down next to me and I lay my head on his chest

With his arms warped around me

"Are you all right?" He asks

There is a pause

"Do you love me?" I ask with tears In my eyes

"Yes, of corse, why would you ask that?"

"I just. I just needed a reminder" I hide my face in his shirt

"Do you love me?" Jake asks

I look up at him, straight into his eyes.

"Yes"
