Chapter 25

I lay on the beach listening to the ocean waves crashing along the shore

I hold hands with jake and look at him

I never wanted to let him go and I'm glad I didn't

We lay for a long time, relaxing

Jake sits up

"Suzzie, look" he points toward the water

"Dolphins" I smile

We both get up and walk towards them

"They're so beautiful" I look at him

"They are, aren't they"

"Mommy mommy look!" A boy besides us says

He looks about 4

"It's dolphins!" He says

"Ya that's right" a woman says

The boy looks down

"They're leaving. Just like you"

"Oh honey, I'll be gone for 4 weeks tops" she hugs him

"I don't want to be alone with that babysitter for 4 weeks! She creeps me out!" He pouts

"Um, hey, are you guys looking for a babysitter?" I ask

"Oh no, we are ok" she says bringing the boy back with her

"Can she stay with me?" He asks

"Please mommy please!"

She stands there for a moment thinking

"Are you hiring?" The woman asks

"Ya sure, I can babysit him when you're gone"

She looks at her son then at me

"Alright can you come babysit on the 28th to the 20th?"

"Ya I'm free"

"Well, looks like you have a new babysitter then"

"Yes" he says

"So, what's your name" I ask

"Aiden" he smiles

"Well nice to meet you Aiden"

I shake his hand like we just did business

I could tell I liked him all ready

"Is it alright if I can babysit with her? I don't need to be paid" Jake asks

"Um, that should be alright then"

"Alright I'll see you later Aiden"

"Bye!" He screams

"Bye" I laugh

Jake and I walk back to the house

"He seems like a sweet boy" jake says

"Ya he's really cute too" I say

"Uh ya, by the way I might have a new boyfriend now" I smile

"Your gonna cheat on me with a four year old" he sounds like a girl

I laugh "obviously"

I stand still for a moment feeling like something bad was going to happen

"Suzzie! Suzzie!" I hear a faint voice as I fall to the ground
