Chapter 26

*Jake's POV*

"Suzzie! Suzzie!" I yell

She shakes and falls to the ground

I put my hand under her head quickly, hoping it hadn't hit the ground yet

I grab my phone out of my pocket and call the ambulance

"Hello, 911, what's your emergency?"

"Yes, hello, my friend she fell to the ground I don't know exactly why and she is unconscious"

"Alright where are you?"

"New Hudson, Willow Lane, Michigan"

"Alright, please stay where you are and an ambulance will be with you shortly"

We hang up and I pay full attention to Suzzie.

I run my fingers through her hair, holding her in my arms

"Jake!" Matthew says

"What happened?"

"She's unconscious, she just. Fell" I say

"Is an ambulance coming?" He asked concerned

He is now by my side helping me hold her

The ambulance rolls up and quickly opens the back

They strap her up and roll her into the truck.

I head in the truck as well and sit down next to her.

Matt heads into the truck too.

"You don't have to come" I say

"No, I'm coming with you. We're best friends and I'm not leaving you with this alone" he says patting me on the back

I nod at him

Matt was my best friend, he was always there for me.

And I was there for him too.

As we get to the hospital they transfer her to a bed and roll her down the hallway

Matt and I try to keep up

"Is she going to be ok?" I ask

I am now at the side of her bed walking fast

"Sir, we are going to have to have you stay here" a doctor says

"But is she going to be ok?!" I yell

2 other doctors hold us back from going any farther

Tears roll down my cheek as I see her being rolled down the hallway

And they turn the corner till I can't see her and I collapse into the wall
