~suzzie's POV~

Last night was amazing. Jake and I saw a really good movie, and had a wonderful dinner.

" I didn't ignore him this time" I laugh as I talk on the phone with laurel

"Well that's an improvement" she laughs back

"Anything spicy?" She questions me

"Not really" I say

"Hey, do you think, that was... A date?" I ask

"Could it?" She sounds surprised

"Ya, I guess so" I smile

"You guys would be a cute couple together" she teases me

"Don't you ever say that if you're with jake and I" I laugh "it gets kinda awkward"

"Can't keep promises"

I feel her smiling evilly through the phone.

I giggle "k, I'll see you at the party Friday k?"

"Ok see you, bye"

I hang up.

I walk down stairs, still in my pajamas

"Pajama day?" My mom asks

"Ya, it's my lazy day"

I sit down on the couch next to my mom. She's been watching the news.

"Thunderstorms and heavy rain fall" the weather news person says

"Careful on the road, and always have a nice day." She signs off.

"Aren't you going to that party Friday?" My mom asks

"Ya, I'll be careful on the road"

"Ok, you better drive slowly, with the thunderstorms and all"

"Ok mom"

I head back up into my room and lay down with my iPhone in my hand.

*beep* *beep*

I look who texted me. It was jake:)
