Next Day of School

I was woken up by my alarm. I got up and realized I was in a terrible mood. I put on skinny jeans with an oversized sweatshirt and my boots. I walked downstairs and ate silently while Ricky, Kian, Dad, and Jc chattered in the living room. I got my stuff ready and sat down on the couch since I had an hour before I had to be at school. "Why are you sad hun?" Ricky said. "I don't know I just feel sad." I mumbled back. "Well feel better cause it's your second day of school!" Kian yelled happily. "Yea sure" I said sighing. At least I get to see my new friends.

*at school in hallway*

I was pretty early so I took my time getting to class. That also meant I had to see those bullies again. "Hey ugly" I heard the girl say. "I have a name you know." I snapped back. "Well someone's grumpy today. I don't think I ever introduced myself. I'm Gloss." She said. "And I'm Victor" her boyfriend said. "And I don't care. Goodbye" I replied trying to walk away. Suddenly, I felt hands on my arms. "No, I don't think you are. You haven't told us your name." Gloss sneered as Victor held my arms. "I'm Melody Franta. Now let me go." I said. "You dirty liar. Are you trying to tell me that Connor Franta is your dad? Next you'll tell me that you have a deadly disease." She yelled. "I might have a disease if I keep looking at your face!" I shouted back just as loud. "WHAT DID YOU SAY TO ME?" She yelled, her voice filled with rage. She then raised her hand to slap me. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain to come. It didn't. I was confused so I opened my eyes. I saw Mackenzie grabbing Gloss's wrist. "You might not want to do that" Mackenzie warned with a dangerous tone. "Let's go Victor" Gloss commanded while walking away quickly. He followed just as quickly. "Thank you so much" I said gratefully. I didn't know she could be that serious. "It's nothing" she chirped happily. "What's her deal?" I asked. "Well she thinks she's the supreme leader of everyone because her dad is rich. She thinks she's pretty and she has a jock boyfriend so that helps a lot." she explained. We walked the rest of the way to class and when we got there a girl jumped up and screamed "MACKENKEN!!" "KIKI" Mackenzie screamed. They ran and hugged. "Melody this is Kiyah" Mackenzie said as she gestured to the girl. Kiyah had raven-colored skin with beautiful shoulder-length black hair. She was about the same size as Mackenzie. "Hi Kiyah. I'm Melody" I introduced myself smiling. I was grumpy when I walked in but Mackenzie and Kiyah just radiated a happiness that I couldn't resist. "Omg I love your name so much!" Kiyah shouted. It seemed like Mackenzie and Kiyah were both loud. "Thanks! I love yours too!" I replied happily. Her and Mackenzie started talking and laughing happily so I sat down and got ready for class. "Sorry about them. They're really crazy" a girl next to me said. "Its ok. I like crazy" I said back. "I'm-" she started but then got cut off. "CASSIE" Mackenzie and Kiyah finished. They hugged her and she pushed them away. "You guys are weird" she said shaking her head but giggling nonetheless. She was a little taller than me and had black hair with one rainbow stripe in it. It looked really cool. "I'm Melody" I introduced myself again. "I love your eyes" she said looking in my eyes. "Thanks" I said smiling. Usually people thought the purple eyes were just contacts but they weren't. Class started and I was glad that I made new friends. (A/N The main besties aren't in their class).

*at home again*

I walked in the door and sat on the couch. Kian was sitting on it and he smiled. "You look happier than you did earlier! How was your day?" He asked. "Well I met new friends and they made me smile all day" I said remembering the funny conversations we had. Then Jc, Dad, and Ricky came running down the stairs. I told them all about my day and they told me how Sam and Trevor would be coming over on Friday. "Perfect!" I shouted. "Why is it perfect?" Jc asked. "Well Mackenzie, Ryane, and Maddie are obsessed with you guys so it will be fun to see their reactions." I said laughing. "Aren't you and your friends about the same age as them?" Ricky asked. "Yea!" I said smiling. (A/N pretend Sam and Trevor are both 14 in this). I finished talking to them and we watched Mean Girls before I fell asleep.
