After the Shooting

Ya'll are probably so mad at me right now for killing the person that I killed. I regret nothing. IF ANY OF YOU GET THAT REFERENCE THEN I WILL BUY YOU A TACO. Aaanyways here is your chapter.

Someone fell to the floor. I was almost to scared to look. "Please don't let it be Connor" I thought. I looked over and saw Nash laying on the floor. "He saved him" I said quietly. "YOU KILLED HIM!" I yelled loudly while whipping around to glare at my old dad. "I didn't mean to...I...I....what have I done..." He stammered. "NO ITS TOO LATE FOR ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY. YOU WERE GOING TO KILL CONNOR. YOU WERE GOING TO SHOOT HIM!" I screamed. I picked up Nash's gun. "You were going to kill my dad" I growled in rage. I pointed the gun at my old dad. "Now Mel-" He began. "DON'T 'NOW MEL' ME!" I yelled. I couldn't think straight. All that was going through my mind was that he would've killed Connor, I was betrayed by my 'boyfriend' but then he sacrificed himself for my family, and that my old dad killed my mom and my brother. "Melody no. Give me the gun" I heard Ricky say. I kept the gun trained on my old dad while I shakily passed it to Ricky. He kept it on my old dad. "Somebody call the cops again and make sure they are on their way" He said calmly. I collapsed into Connor's arms and he stroked my hair to try and calm me down. "There's no need to call the cops. I'll change I promise" My dad said quietly. "You have to repay for what you did" Jc said. My old dad collapsed into a sobbing huddle on the floor. Ricky kept watch on him with the gun. Sam and Trevor were checking for signs of life in Nash. Kian was on the phone with the police. Me and Connor were huddled together just trying to forget everything that had happened. Jc was just kind if standing there in shock. Eventually the police showed up. "What happened here?" The first officer said as she glanced uncertainly at Ricky who was holding the gun. Ricky explained what happened and my dad confessed to doing everything. The police officer handcuffed my dad and sent for an ambulance. When the ambulance arrived, they took Nash and me. Only one more person was allowed in the ambulance so Connor came. I soon fell asleep in his arms.

Connor's P.O.V

Everything went by in a blur. All of a sudden there was a bang and I was sure that I was about to die. I was in complete panic. What would Melody do? What would her dad and Nash do to the rest of the guys? What would happen to O2L? As those thoughts raced through my mind Nash jumped in front of me. He saved me. I was in shock. I couldn't really tell what was happening right up until Melody collapsed in my arms. I stroked her hair partly to comfort her and partly to comfort me. Finally the police arrived and took us to the hospital.

*next day in Melody's P.O.V*

I woke up in the hospital. I couldn't believe Nash was dead. I noticed Connor sleeping on a couch next to my bed. I couldn't believe he almost died. a nurse walked in. "Um you know that fellow who came with you in the ambulance?" she asked. "Nash" I said and I started to tear up knowing what was going to be said next. "He's alive"
