I groan falling down on my bed that I just set up. I had to hurt my wrist the day before I moved.
Jada sighs and plops down next to me, "So when are we signing you up for school?"
"School?"
"Yeah!" She says smiling, "You do go to school right?"
"Of course I do!" That's a lie, "I will sign up tomorrow."
"I go to a public school so they will definitely accept you."
"Great." I say running my hand through my hair.
She stands up, "Well I'm gonna go to take a shower and go to sleep so you have fun."
"I will." I say sitting up and grabbing my blanket out of the box next to my bed.
As soon as she leaves the room I crawl into bed without even changing my clothes. I've never been this exhausted in my life.
When I wake up in the morning I'm covered in sweat. I sit up and I groan. I don't know what I was dreaming about but it must have been pretty scary.
I grab a light black jumper, some black skinny jeans with rips in the knees, and blue converse. I walk into my own personal bathroom and I take a well needed shower before changing and making my way into the kitchen.
Its five in the morning so Jada isn't awake yet.
I pull open the fridge and I raise my eyebrow, there isn't any meat in the fridge. Not that I think about it, I don't think I've ever seen her eat meat.
I pull out a bunch of fruits like strawberries and some pancake mix. After chopping up the fruits I set them aside and I begin making the pancakes.
I turn when Jada walks out of her room and into the kitchen.
"I hope you don't mind but I'm making you breakfast." I say flipping one of the pancakes.
She giggles, "I knew I smelt something good."
"I hope it tastes as good as it smells."
She nods, "I hope so I'm starving."
I pull the pancake off the stove and I set it on the plate next to the bowl of fruit and a small thing of sugar before I hand it to her.
She sits down at the breakfast bar, "Aren't you gonna eat?"
I shake my head, "I'm not really hungry."
She moans, "Its so good. You should be a chef."
"I made box pancakes and I cut up fruit." I say jumping up on the counter.
She giggles, "Well you cut good fruit."
After eating she goes to her room and changes into light blue skinny jeans, a frilly dark blue tank top, and black vans.
She grabs her black backpack and she throws it over her shoulder, "Grab your phone, your coming with me."
I run into my bedroom and I grab my phone and my lanyard before running back out into the living room. She smiles when she sees me.
"Come on lets go before we're late."
"More like your gonna be late." I say jokingly.
She sighs, "I can't believe we live together."
I shrug, "I can't believe I live with someone who actually looks decent."
"Oh so I just look decent to you?"
I shake my head, "Nooo you look beautiful I'm just saying that everyone else I've ever been room mates with looked like an ogre."
She giggles, "I know, I just wanted to see you blush."
She stands up on her tippy toes and she kisses me. For the first time in a long time I've actually felt something for someone. I feel something for Jada.
