The weekend went by without a hitch and its about six in the morning on Monday. Jada is making breakfast and I just took a nice warm shower.
I walk over to my closet and I pull out some black skinny jeans with rips in the knees and a black shirt with the word stupid in small print on it in white. I reach under my bed, I grab my purple low top vans, and I toss them on before exiting my room.
I walk over and I jump up onto the counter.
"Ready for your first day of school?"Jada asks handing me a plate of food.
"Yesss mommmm." I say laughing lightly.
She turns the stove off and she jumps up onto the counter next to me, "That's weird don't call me mom."
"Fine mom." I say before shoveling food in my mouth.
She looks at me mildly annoyed before rolling her eyes and eating her breakfast. Its about six thirty by the time we both finish breakfast and we finish cleaning the kitchen.
I walk into my bedroom and I grab my phone, a pencil, and a pen before shoving them in my back pocket. I brush my hair before leaving my room and making my way into the living room.
Jada is wearing a neon pink sun dress that comes about two inchs above her knee and white gemed sandals. She has a purple galaxy backpack and a cute little heart necklace I gave her.
"School sucksss." I groan running my hand through my hair.
She laughs, "Well my school is amazing and plus I'm there so it will be great."
I laugh, "That ego."
She smacks my chest lightly, "Come on lets go before we're late."
I fix my splint before interlocking our hands together and walking out of the house and towards school.
We arrive almost thirteen minutes later and as soon as people see me they all begin whispering and talking. I guess me punching Jada's ex which happens to be the captain of the football team doesn't help me stay low on the food chain.
As soon as we pass the gates of the school people kinda just get out of our way except the group of jocks from Friday. As I walk past the group of jocks I make sure to slam my shoulder against Jada's ex who happens to have a black eye.
They all turn around and watch me as I walk inside. People are standing in awe because of what I just did. Jada departs as soon as I enter the office to get my schedule.
The first part of school went by without a hitch.
