It seemed that after my parent's marriage, life sped by.

"Harper, where is your cap?" Olivia called, and I sighed as I leaned over and grabbed my graduation cap from my dresser.

"Mom, right here." I replied, as she walked past my bedroom door. She stopped and looked in before laughing.

"Why am I so over the place today?" She asked, as she walked into my room and took the curling iron from me.

"Because I'm graduating, Mom." I laughed, and she smiled.

"I'm very proud of you, Harper." She spoke, and I smiled.

"I'm just glad that I'm done with high school, and can finally go to college." I replied, and she sighed.

"I feel so old." She frowned, and I turned around to look at her.

"How can you feel old? You have Sadie, Tyler, and Hazel." I spoke, and she sighed.

"I guess, but still. My oldest is going to be going to college."

I was going to reply, but Sadie came into my bedroom, and smiled.

"Daddy said we have to leave in ten minutes." She spoke.

"Alright, Sadie go get Tyler in his shoes, and tell your father to grab Hazel's diaper bag." Olivia replied, and Sadie skipped out and I sighed.

"I can't believe she's eight." I breathed, and she nodded.

"It's scary, like I said." She breathed back. I hugged Olivia, shocking her, but she smiled and held onto me.

"I love you so much, Harp."

"I love you too, Mom."

Ethan and I sat next to each other as we waited for our principal to call us to find our real seats. After my car accident, my parents sent me back to the school I had just left. I wanted to spend my time with Marcy and Ethan, and once we got out of high school, Marcy was moving to California, and Ethan and I were going to Yale.

"So, where is your dorm?" Ethan asked.

"Maple. I don't know anyone that I'm staying with." I sighed, and he frowned.

"I'm sure you'll make lots of friends." He spoke, and I rolled my eyes.

"Sure, Mom." I replied, sarcastically, and he laughed.

He leaned in and kissed me and I smiled.

"But, we are going to spend a lot of time together." I spoke, and he chuckled.

"Lots." He smiled.

"Alright, students, get up! I'm going to call your name, and you file in behind the person I call before you."

Ethan kissed me one last time before we parted and got ready for graduation.

"Stop making silly faces, Sadie. Just smile!" Olivia laughed, as she tried to take pictures of us.

"Mom, Hazel is wet." I groaned, and my mother sighed and came over and took Hazel and frowned.

"So much for a freaking family picture." My father laughed, and I smiled.

"Well, maybe at the restaurant." I replied, and he nodded. Ethan gave Tyler to my father, then he grabbed my hand and squeezed it.

"I'm going to go see my mom and Trevor. I'll meet you at the restaurant." He spoke, and I nodded. I kissed him softly, then he walked past Sadie, ruffled her hair, and walked towards his family.

"Is he still coming?" Sadie asked, as she held onto Tyler's hand, until I picked him up and placed him on my hip.

"Yeah. He just wants to spend some time with his family. Lets go and see if Mom needs help." I replied, and she nodded.

We went to the restaurant, and afterwards my parents, siblings, Ethan and myself went back to our house. When we got there, I stared in confusion at a car.

"Who is coming to visit?" I asked, as I got out of my parents car.

"No one." My father replied, but a smile was spreading over his face.

"Dad, what is happening?" I asked, as Ethan and I stood next to each other.

"You are going to need something to get to and from here." Dad replied.

"I'm living on campus Dad. I got a full scholarship." I replied.

"But then you can come home, Harper." Sadie exclaimed, and I smiled, before hugging my father, than moving to Olivia.

"Thanks so much." I breathed, and they nodded.

"Of course. Now just actually come home." Olivia chuckled, and I nodded.

"I promise." I smiled.

Two months later, my parents and Ethan's mother and brother dropped us off at Yale. It was a huge school, but it was going to get us to where we needed to go.

Ethan wanted to be a doctor, and at this point, I wanted to be a lawyer. We had classes to take before we can get into any of the programs we wanted, but before we knew it , we were going to really be in the real world.

"So, do you have enough food and laundry tickets?" Olivia asked, and I nodded.

"Yes, Mom. I'm going to have plenty." I smiled, as we unpacked my stuff into my bedroom. There was two other roommates I was going to have. Then there was a living area, and a bathroom.

"Well, I just want to make sure. We can get you some m-" She started, and my Dad laughed.

"Liv, she's going to be fine." My father smiled, and he winked at me. He was extremely amused by her hovering.

"She's my baby, I'm allowed to worry about her like this. Now, where do you want all of your books?"

We finished unpacking, and then we met up with Ethan and his mother, and walked around, looking for our classes.

"European Literature?" My father asked, and I looked at him and smiled.

"Yeah, you know Europe's literature." Olivia teased before I could.

"I'm not dumb, Olivia. I know what it is, I'm just confused why our daughter wants to take it." He replied, and Ethan placed his hand to my lower back.

"We are both taking it. It is one of the requirements for the law and medical programs." Ethan replied, and my father nodded, but narrowed his eyes.

"Are you sure it isn't because you want to be together?" My dad teased, and I chuckled.

"That does help." I replied.

Ethan and I walked ahead of our parents, but we were listening into their conversation.

"I bet by the end of this year, they'll be engaged." Ethan's mom spoke, and my parents laughed.

"I bet it won't take that long. They are really in love, and I couldn't ask for a better person to love our daughter, like your son. He is perfect for her."
