We all woke up early the morning of the wedding. My mother was anxious, and was forcing us all into getting up and ready earlier than planned.
"Alright, Harper get up!" My mother spoke, as she quickly turned on my bedroom light.
"Mom! God damn it!" I cried, as I pulled my pillow over my head to block out the light.
"Harper Rose Stabler, do not swear for one. For two I'm getting married today and we have to get ready." She exclaimed. I groaned and lifted my pillow up and looked at my mother.
"What time is it?" I questioned.
"7." She replied, and I shook my head.
"No, its too early." I frowned.
"Harper, please! I need a lot of help today, and we all know that Sadie isn't going to help." Olivia replied, and I rolled my eyes.
"Alright, I'm up!" I exclaimed. I climbed out of bed and stretched my limbs.
"Good! So I want you to go shower but don't get in your dress, then go and eat something." She spoke as she left my room. I sighed and walked over to my closet and pulled out some jeans and a t-shirt, before heading down stairs to shower.

At about noon, my Aunt and a few of my mother's friends who are in the wedding party showed up. We weren't supposed to leave for the church until 3, but Olivia wanted a head start on getting the makeup and hair done.
"Alright, Harper what should I do?" Olivia asked as she sat anxiously. I walked up behind her and started to play with her short brown hair until I pulled some back and a smile covered her features.
"You aren't wearing a veil, so I guess this can work." I smiled, and she nodded. I tied off her hair and curled the ends, and by the time it was done, she looked beautiful. I bit my lip to stop my tears, because right now, I was happy. I had my parents back, and a little sister, and that was all I really needed.
Everyone got done by 2, and my mother forced us out of the house. I drove Sadie to the church, with all of the bridesmaids and my mother's dress.
"Sissy, this is too heavy!" Sadie exclaimed, as she tried to pull my mother's dress from the back of the Volkswagen bug.
"No! Sadie, I can carry the dress!" I exclaimed, as I quickly walked over and grabbed my mother's dress bag, right before it was gonna fall into a puddle. I let out a sigh of relief and then looked at Sadie who was pretty much in tears.
"I didn't mean to!" She sobbed.
"Sweetie, you didn't do anything! I just don't want Mom's dress to get dirty." I replied, and she sniffled.
"Harper can you hurry with the dresses? You mother is about to have a panic attack!" Aunt Amanda called. I nodded, and was about to continue to talk to Sadie, but she was running towards the church, probably going to tell Olivia that I was being mean to her.
I carried the dresses, my mother's being the heaviest, and I went into their dressing room.
"Harper, is she nervous?" I heard my father call down the hall. He was still dressed in his street clothes, and I sighed.
"Yes, and Sadie isn't making it any easier." I groaned.
"What is wrong?" Dad asked, and I sighed.
"Sadie almost dropped Mom's dress into a mud puddle." I replied, and I heard Olivia almost scream my name, and I quickly turned on my heel and towards the dressing room.

Once I had entered the dressing room, I was grounded on the spot for being mean to Sadie, which I wasn't. I dropped off the dresses and then left the church, anger radiating off of me.
"Harper!" Ethan called, and I stopped at my car and looked at him.
"Hey." I sighed.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I'm grounded for a month." I groaned. He joined me and gently kissed my lips before speaking.
"Well doesn't that suck." He sighed, and I nodded.
"So my parents are going to be away for two whole weeks, and I have to baby sit Sadie and not do anything." I frowned.
"I can come over." He breathed, as he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him.
"Discuss that with my parents, Ethan. I'm going to check on the reception hall." I sighed.
"Want me to come?" He asked, and I shook my head.
"No. It's fine. I just need to get away from my freaking lunatic mother, who still believes everything Sadie fucking says." I swore before getting in my car and driving off.

When I got back from checking on the reception hall, my mother was pissed. I walked into the dressing room and started to get my dress out of the bag, Olivia walked over and stared at me.
"Where the hell have you been?" She slurred, and I bit my lip to restrain from yelling at her.
"I went to make sure that the reception hall is ready." I breathed.
"Yeah, well you were supposed to be here to get ready!" She yelled. Aunt Amanda came over and grabbed my mother.
"Olivia, just stop it, alright?" She breathed, and Olivia stared her down.
"Don't tell me what to do! You aren't even mother, you don't know what to do with teens!"Olivia screamed, and I groaned loudly.
"Alright, I'm not doing this! Let me just go get fucking ready, so your perfect wedding can still be perfect. And by the way, Sadie almost dropped your fucking dress in a mud puddle, but I caught it. She got upset when I told her that I would carry the bag. I stopped you from being embarrassed because of a brown stained dress, but you don't even care! You just chose to listen to your FAVORITE daughter, while I'm just the one who always gets punished." I hissed.
"Go home." She seethed.
"What?" I breathed.
"You aren't going to be in my wedding if you act like this."
"Mom-" I started, and she shook her head.
"No. Go home." She breathed, and I started to cry, as I gathered my stuff.
As I was walking out, I heard all of my mother's friends tell her that she was over reacting, and that she was going to regret it, but she wasn't going to care. I guess that she hadn't really changed that much.
