I ran my hands through my hair before looking at him.
"Ethan, what if she never wakes up?" I breathed, and he frowned.
"Are you worried about coming home and having to help raise your siblings? Because that is kinda sad." He spoke and I shook my head.
"You are such a jerk." I spoke. I started to awkwardly stand, when he pulled me back down.
"I'm sorry." He frowned and I ran my hands through my hair.
"Ethan, I'm worried that my siblings are going to have to grow up like I did. That they are gonna having to only be raised by our father and not know how it really feels to have a mother to turn to when you need her the most." I breathed, and he nodded.
"I know how you feel, Harper. My father was a flake and left after that monster of a brother was born. I really needed a father all this time, but my mother did a pretty damn good job raising us."
"Not you." I spoke coldly.
"Why not me?" He questioned.
"Because you cheated on your long term girlfriend and knocked up the girl you cheated with."
"That is low, again!" He exclaimed, and I stood up and started to walk away again. He caught up to me and grabbed me by the waist and turned me around.
I looked at Ethan, and I could see everything that we had went through. The memories that haunted me still. The car accident. The cheating. The good times, and unfortunately the bad.
"I love you, Harper." He spoke, before leaning down and moving in for a kiss. I quickly moved away and walked to my car.
"I may be upset, but I was raised to never cheat in a marriage or relationship. I need to get home to my husband, and the father of my son."

I drove to the hospital after having dinner with my siblings and husband, and I walked into the waiting room, where my father had pretty much become a statue. I sat next to him and sat a bag with dinner in it on his lap.
He lifted his head and looked at me.
"Hey, Harps." He breathed, and I smiled.
"Hi." I replied. He kissed my temple before leaning back and starting to eat.
"At least you haven't lost your appetite." I spoke, and he shrugged.
"I've never had trouble eating." He admitted, and I smiled.
"Well, have they updated you on her condition?" I asked, and he shook his head.
"No. She is still in a coma, I know that is for sure."
"Have that feeling?" I questioned and he sighed and nodded.
"Yeah. When the person you are meant to be with is in trouble, or sick, you get that gut feeling." He spoke, and I nodded.
"I felt that when Lark got hurt." I breathed, and he nodded.
"How is your husband?" He asked.
"He is good. Excited."
"I'm glad that you two are happy and giving me a grandson." He spoke, and I smiled as I ran my hand over my stomach.
"I can't wait to be a mother."
"You are going to be a great mother. Would you mind doing me a favor?"
"You were buttering me up when you called me a great mother." I chuckled, and he sighed.
"Stay here? I kinda want to get some sleep." He spoke, and I nodded.
"Sure. I've gotten enough sleep for the day. Tell Lark about me being here when you get home, alright?"
"Gotcha." He spoke. He finished his burger, before kissing the top of my head and walking away.
"Dad, you might want the keys!" I called, and he turned around. I tossed them to him and he smiled before walking out.

At about 1 that morning, someone approached me.
"You are Detective Benson's daughter, aren't you?" The man asked, and I looked up to see it was one of her doctors.
"Yes. Is she okay?" I questioned quickly.
"We decided to clear her for visitors. We want to get someone to talk to her and maybe get her to wake up." He spoke, and I nodded.
"I think I can do that." I smiled.
We walked into the ICU, and then into her private room. He left me alone right away, and I walked over to sit next to my mother.
I kissed her forehead, before sitting down next to her bed.
"Hey, Mom. They are finally letting us come see you. Dad went home to sleep, and I took over. He probably won't be happy that I got to sit with you first, nor are you, but this works." I spoke, before gently touching her hand.
I grabbed her hand and squeezed it gently. I wanted her to squeeze it back, but she didn't.
"So, everyone is okay. The guy that shot you is in jail, and Fin had a few stitches but nothing too bad." I spoke, awkwardly. I didn't know what else to say.

I just sat with her for awhile, in silence, and just saying a few words here and there, hoping that she would wake up, but nothing happened.
"Harper, what are you doing?" My father whispered, and I squeezed her hand one last time before standing up.
"They cleared her for visitors. She is all yours now." I yawned, and he looked at me and then at my mother.
"Stay with her." He replied, and I saw something different in his eyes.
"Dad?"
"Please, I can't." he whimpered, before quickly turning and running from the room.
I looked back at my mother, and kissed her forehead.
"I'll get him to come back in here. Maybe he can wake up." I spoke.

I walked out and saw my father sitting in his usual spot. I walked over to him and stood in front of him.
"What was that?" I asked.
"She isn't your mother." he breathed.
"Dad, I know that she isn't awake and teasing us, but that is my mother." I replied, and he shook his head.
"No. I can't go in there and think that my wife is going to wake up just because I speak to her. She isn't the same Olivia, and I have no idea if she will ever be her again."
"Dad, go in there. Don't speak if you don't want to. Just sit with her. She will know if you are there, because you two are soul mates." I spoke, before pulling him to his feet.
He hugged me and then sighed.
"I swear if this doesn't work, I'm disowning you." He teased before walking away.
