                                                                      CHAPTER 4

     "Will I be able to stay in school? Will I be able to graduate? Will I need to worry about you finding someone better than me? Will you stay faithful while you watch me graduate out of high school? Please, I don't want to leave. If you can't wait, I won't be with you. I'm sorry to disappoint, but I don't share and I want to finish school and get my diploma so I can go to college," I said to him. I looked over at him, close to tears. I didn't want him to leave, but I had plans and goals I wanted to do before I really settled down. Jayden looked at him and growled for causing me to cry.

     "And you will, my sweet. I will be enrolling in your school and coming with you. You will not have to worry about me being unfaithful, because since the moment I first saw you all those years ago, I could not and would not touch another woman no matter how beautiful. My dragon is loyal till death to you, our life-mate, and would not even allow a thought like that to come across my mind. I didn't want to be unfaithful either. You are my life-mate and I don't want to lose you over something stupid like that. Plus, it is not safe for just you to be walking around like you do. What if someone tried to grab and kidnapped you? Now that people know I have a life-mate, there will be some trouble. I would never rest until he or she was brought down and I had exacted my revenge on them for taking you away from me," he said with a look of fury on his face. He leaned over and wiped the tears from my eyes. Jayden snapped at him and I patted his head again, causing him to calm down somewhat.

     "I had not thought of it that way. Thank you for being so faithful to me as well. I'm sorry you had to wait this long until you came forward to claim me. I know how hard that must have been for you. You seem a little old to be coming to school with me though. How will you pass off as a senior if you look like you should be at college right now? You will have to pull of some major works to get into school like that, plus you need a uniform for dress code. It's a polo tucked into jeans or khakis with a belt," I said, looking up at him.

     He looked at me for a minute with something like amusement in his eyes and snapped his fingers,"There, is that sufficient for school?" The clothing that I had told him he would need appeared out of thin air on him and damn did he look good. The jeans encased his thighs and the emerald green shirt showed off his eight pack all too well and made his eyes pop out. I knew other girls would be looking at him with lust and smugness in their eyes, thinking they could get with the hot new kid. Just thinking about it was enough to piss me off. "And I would do it all over again if I could. Not a day goes by that I regret my decision," he said. I grinned at that and then thought about how he would fit in with my little group. We are just a small group of people. It's just me, my best friend Rose, and my other best friend Dawn plus a good guy friend of mine Marcus, who I might add, so as not to make Adrian jealous, has more fun playing video games then socializing. And what those skanky hoes didn't know was he's all mine. I didn't realize I was staring, until I heard a throat being cleared, for what seemed the hundredth time.

     I looked up to see my grandma wink at me and then excuse herself and my brother,"We will be back in a little bit. We are going to the park to watch a little baseball. Come on Wyatt. No funny business you two. I want to come home with both of y'all fully clothed," she said,smirking.

     "Buuuuut moooom!! I don't wanna go. I wanna stay here and watch Em make a fool out of herself," Wyatt whined. Jayden snapped at him and Wyatt paled a little.

     "No! They need some time alone to sort all this out and Embarra needs to process all that she has learned today," she scolded him. He looked down and went to get his shoes on as she followed him.

     The minute I heard them leave, I looked at Adrian and asked," Can I see your dragon again. Can I ride him? I mean, not in that way, just like on his back."

     "You can ride me any way you want," he smirked again. Jayden got up and stalked up behind him. I hid my grin for a minute, then cracked up laughing when he bit Adrian's ass cheek.

     "OUCH!!! You bloody dog! Why'd you do that? I was just kidding! And the answer to your question is yes you may see him again. You may ride him whichever way you feel satisfied with, my little star," he said rubbing his ass. Jayden growled again and stalked off, sulking. With that we went outside and all I heard was the ripping fabric of his shirt and pants as they fluttered to the ground in strips.
