CHAPTER 8

    I walked into the classroom and took my seat next to Dawn and Rose. The bell rang and our teacher still wasn't here and neither was Adrian. I looked around, wondering what had happened to him and then, happily thought about Ms. Paula. I didn't like her, but I had to put up with her. She got caught last year smoking on school grounds outside her classroom and the principal decided it was time for her to "retire".

    Rose asked,"Well! Where is he? I thought you said he was gonna be in this class." Dawn looked just as confused as I felt. I looked around again and saw the principal come in.

    She looked around and said,"Students! Attention, students! Now, I have some bad news and some good news. First, the bad news: Miss Paula has decided to leave us and retire," at this we all cheered because she was bat-shit crazy anyways," and secondly, this is your new teacher."

    At this, I looked up and my jaw dropped. It was Adrian. My Adrian is MY TEACHER!!!!!! O my gosh. I can't believe this. That is why he wasn't in any of my classes earlier. He was teaching or getting ready to teach. I looked at Rose and Dawn and when they looked at me, I pointed at him and mouthed It's him. They looked at me and suddenly burst out laughing. The principal stopped her lecture on treating him nicely and respecting him to glare at us. They quit laughing and looked down guiltily but still snickering to themselves.

    When she got back to her lecture, they turned and looked at me. Are you serious? That's him?!?! He is super hot not just kinda. Oh my gosh wow!!! Girl you got urself a man!!! they mind-linked me. I looked up and caught him staring at us. I tried to get him to read my mind again. It was much easier to min-link Rose and Dawn than Adrian as I had known them longer. This is Dawn, I thought slightly pointing at Dawn. This is Rose, I thought slightly pointing to Rose. They are my best friends in the world and I would like for you to accept them because if not... He looked around and made sure no one was looking before he looked right at me and I heard his voice in my head, I will accept them if they accept me. I love you and I want you to be happy. I smiled and the girls looked at me strangely. I mouthed Mind-link to them and they both grinned.

    I noticed the principal had stopped talking and had left the room. Adrian went to the front of the class and introduced himself.

    "Hi guys. My name is Adrian and I will be your new English teacher. You can call me Mr. A or just Adrian as mister makes me feel quit old. We will be going through and having everybody say something about themselves and tell me your names as well. Okay any questions before we get started?"

    One of the school sluts, Brianna, raised her hand. Her polo was unbuttoned so much that her boobs were hanging out. How she got away with that I will never know.

    "Yes? Start with your name and then ask your question and state something about yourself," he said.

    "Hi my name is Brianna, I like shopping,  and do you have a girlfriend?" she asked.

    "Actually, yes I do. She is amazing too. I can't wait to see her after school," he answered. I almost went awe, but the girls clapped their hands over my mouth just in time. Adrian looked at me and winked. Brianna looked like she was about to fall out of her chair. She was shocked that he hadn't even looked at her when she asked, since she was used to getting all the attention from our other male teachers.

    "Okay. Any other questions for me?" he asked.

    "What's your girlfriends name? Is she from around here?" Lisa, a friend of Brianna's, asked. They were  like clones of each other. Lisa was nicer and didn't dress quit as provocative as Brianna, but she was still a whore in her own sense.

    "Well. I won't get into those kinds of details. I will tell you she is from around here and that I love her very much already. I am even planning on asking her to marry me soon," he said. I looked at him and almost went awe again, but caught myself and said it in my head instead. He grinned at that, but it looked like he was just smiling from the questions.

    "Okay. Anymore questions? No? Okay then. We will start with everybody else's name and you can tell me a little about yourself," and with that he started going down the rows of desks. I didn't pay much attention until he got to the girls.

    "Okay, so what's your name and what do you like to do in your free time?" he asked Dawn. She looked a little embarrassed about having to talk in front of the class. She had a slight speech impediment that she hated, but I didn't really care.

    "My name is Dawn and I love to read and write. Oh and my best friends are Rose and Embarra," she answered him, looking at us. He looked like he appreciated her honesty and the fact that she made it clear who her friends were.

    "You. What is your name and what do you like to do?" he asked, pointing at Rose.

    "My name is Rose, I love to hang with my besties Dawn and Embarra, and I love to shop," she said. He looked very surprised at her answer, since she  basically said the same thing Dawn had about us being friends.

    Then he looked at me. He asked me the same thing and I said," Hey, my name is Embarra. These two are my besties. I love to read, write, shop, watch movies, and I love my boyfriend to death. Oh and I love to eat." At this, people looked at me strangely because they knew I had always stayed away from guys. I don't date...ever. It's just how I am or was. I'm very picky with my guys. He looked surprised at me since I had mentioned him. He just smiled and went on to the next person.

    At the end of class, he stopped me and told me and the girls to stay behind. When everyone had left, he went and closed the door.

    "Okay, so I'm sure Em has told you guys all about me and my personal trait. I just want you guys to keep it secret. That is all I ask," he said to them. Then he came over and kissed me. When he pulled away, the girls had huge smirks on their faces.

    They both went awe at the same time. I smiled at them, then kissed Adrian again before I heard the bell ring. Adrian said bye to the girls and wrote us a note for our next teacher and we went to our next class.
