Forgive and Forget? I Don't Know?

                                                                Chapter 20

        The next morning, we woke up and I went to get dressed. I found an old pair of sweat pants and a baggy t-shirt and a sweatshirt to go over that. I went to quickly get a shower and put my clothes on. As I was walking out the bathroom door, Adrian came up and wrapped his arms around me. 

        "We will figure something out. Until then, uncover my beautful belly and babies. I want everyone to know your pregnant with my children and your eighteen, so it is legal. Plus your gaurdian agrees so we should still be able to be with each other and, if not, job be damned. I want to stay with you and be there for everything," he said.

        I laughed at him and went to change into some tighter clothes that showed off my baby bump. Afterwards we both went to the breakfast. When we went to leave, Adrian told me to close my eyes and he would lead me outside. I agreed reluctantly and let him cover my eyes with a piece of cloth.

        "I'm pregnent with your kids... do NOT let me fall or hurt myself," I told him smiling slightly. He chuckled lightly and we reached my gravel driveway. He uncovered my eyes and I gasped. He had gotten a huge electric blue four-door Ram. Where or when he got it, Ii don't know. I turned with tears in my eyes and kissed him for all I was worth.

        "You didn't have to do this. I am still fine walking. They aren't even that big yet. Where did you get this thing anyway? When did you have the time to do it? I know for a fact it wasn't here last night," I said. He smiled and shook his head.

        "I'm not telling. You will demand I take you there and I don't think you're ready. Not yet anyways," he said. I pouted a little then grinned mischievously. He arched an eyebrow at me and I kissed him again before he could figure out my plan. I wrapped my arms around him all the while hunting for my prize. To anyone looking at us it would seem I was groping him, but I felt around until Ii found them. The keys to the truck. I smirked as I pulled away and ran to the drivers' side of the truck. I hopped in and beckoned a stunned Adrian to the passengers' door. He walked to the other side and hopped in. I honked the horn and my brother came running outta the house. He jumped in the back and I started the truck up and headed to school.

        We got there and I went to get out but Adrian stopped me by taking my hand. I glanced over to him and he said,"You're supposed to let me get the door and help you out." I laughed and nodded. He jumped out and came around to help me out. I went to pull away so we could go our seperate ways, but he glued me to his side and started walking us to the door. People, students and staff, stared at us. Some had condescending looks on their faces others wore happier expressions and some wore looks of disbelief and hatred. We walked into the office and Adrian asked to see the principal. She walked out of her office, took one look at us, and motioned for us to come into her offiice.

        We walked in and she closed the door behind us. It closed with a resounding clang. "You have some explaining to do Adrian," she said. I began to get a little nervous and wrapped my arm tighter around Adrian. He, in turn, wrapped his around mine and rested his hand on my stomach.

        "Yes. Embarra and I are getting married and she is pregnant with my babies. We didn't think it was right to keep it from you anymore. I hope you understand. She is my soulmate in every sense of the word. I would like to keep my job here to keep an eye on her. As the doctor predicted, the pregnancy will be difficult due to her havin quintuplets. She needs to be watched closely at all times. Her grandmother knows about all of this and if you don't believe me call her," he told her. He seemed so relaxed the complete opposite of me. I glanced up nervously and then back down quickly. On the out side, she seemed calm, but her eyes nearly blazed with hatred. I didn't understand why and it made me very uncomfortable. I cuddled further into Adrian and hid my face into his side.
