The Next School Day....Ugh

CHAPTER 10

    The next morning, I woke up to the smell of bacon and pancakes. I looked over and saw Adrian still asleep on his stomach, so I decided to wake him up nicely. I snuck out of bed and went into the kitchen. I grabbed a cup of coffee and then went to the freezer. I grabbed some ice cubes and went back to my room where Adrian still hadn't woke up. I took the ice and put it down his boxers, then waited.

    Not thirty seconds later, he was up jumping around like his ass was on fire or extremely frozen. I stood there, coffee in hand, laughing my ass off at him. He looked like a monkey trying to get the ice out of his boxers. He finally got it out or it melted one, when he turned to look at me.

    I put my coffee down and took off out the door and into the yard with him right on my tail. I love being chased and he well knew it. We ran around the house and towards the barn, when he finally caught me with a flying tackle. He turned at the last second so he took the brunt of the impact. Jayden came out of no where barking and snarling, but I could tell he just wanted to play too.

    We rolled over until he was on top and staring down at me. I looked up at him and smiled sweetly, hoping to lesson his revenge on me. He didn't take it though and I was soon pleading with him to stop. He started tickling my sides and stomach, but then he moved down to tickle my feet...not a good idea on his part. At all. Jayden, who had been licking and barking at us, quickly backed away.

    I tried to warn him through my gasps of laughter, when he started. He tickled my feet mercilessly and I was soon kicking so much I didn't realize when I kicked him right in the jaw. He looked stunned for all of three seconds and he started prowling up my body. I didn't think I had hurt him to much, but I did hear a pop.

    He whispered,"You are gonna pay for that, my little star. You now get to kiss it better." I looked at him and was fixing to tell him that I didn't mean to and decided against it. I breathlessly turned my head to kiss his jaw, when he moved his face and caught my mouth with his. We kissed passionately for a while and broke apart only when Jayden had had enough and started trying to lick Adrian in the mouth too. Adrian broke away to push Jay away.

    He looked down at me and smiled. "That's what you get for not kissing me before you went to bed last night. You naughty girl, and here I thought you were a sweet little thing. I guess you like teasing me," he said with a smirk on his face and a twinkle of something in his eye, lust maybe? I couldn't be sure as he blinked and it was gone.

    Before I could look closer, my grandma called us in for breakfast. We got up and headed back to the house. He brushed me off,  picked me up and gave me a piggy-back ride to the door and I slid slowly down his body. He turned around with heat smoldering in his hazel eyes and a promise of retribution. I gave him a sly grin and walked inside, but not before he moved to smack my ass. I squeaked and turned around. Jayden snuck up behind him and nipped his hand. He just grinned and walked in ahead of me. I shook my head and went inside. I took a piece of bacon off his plate he was making and went to get ready for school. I gave another piece to Jay as I walked towards my room to get my clothes and take a shower.

    When I got out of the shower, I went to get dressed in my room with only a towel around me. Adrian was lying on the bed with a piece of bacon in his hand and Jayden staring him down. He took one look at me and his eyes smoldered and turned to his dragon eyes.

    He swiftly got up and stalked towards me. Jayden growled but I told him to stay. I backed away, until my back hit the door, which I had thankfully thought to close. He caged me in and looked down at me from his 6'7 height. He leaned in to kiss me, but I held up my hand to stop him.
