Sunlight

11 3 1

The sun is shining oh so bright
A sign you've made it through another night

Lay your weapons down
Stop crying now
No need to frown
So smile, you know how

Time for optimism
Don't be melancholy
The sun is shining
It's time to be jolly

You've got so much ahead of you
Don't end it so soon
Be happy while the sun is shining
And even with the moon

So lay your weapons down
No need to cry right now
So turn that frown
Into a smile, 'cause I know you know how

Because the sun is shining so bright
And you've made it through another night.

Talk Time!

So, loves! I wrote this one on Saturday too. Also on the way to Earth Day Cleanup.

I was listening to Song of the Caged Bird by Lindsey Stirling, and I had my window rolled down and I could feel the sun beams on my face, and the wind blowing my hair around.

This made me feel really, really frickin' happy. So what did I do? I WROTE ABOUT IT! I swear, I write way too much.

That's about it though! The sun on my face gave me an optimistic look on things, and I felt so accomplished for how far I've come since my depression started. I am so glad I have feelings like these again!

Bye dears, I love you all!
