Sunlight

The sun is shining oh so bright
A sign you've made it through another night

Lay your weapons down
Stop crying now
No need to frown
So smile, you know how

Time for optimism
Don't be melancholy
The sun is shining
It's time to be jolly

You've got so much ahead of you
Don't end it so soon
Be happy while the sun is shining
And even with the moon

So lay your weapons down
No need to cry right now
So turn that frown
Into a smile, 'cause I know you know how

Because the sun is shining so bright
And you've made it through another night.

Notes Notes Notes!

Hey loves! It's been a while. There's still that family thing going on, so I haven't found many windows of opportunity to update.

This poem is another one that I wrote on Earth Day. I had the window down while we were on the highway, and it was so sunny and beautiful and it made me so happy to be alive and breathing. For once in a very long while, I was happy to be alive. It gave me all of the inspirations.

Ever since I got out of Forest View, lots of things have been inspiring me. For example, my teacher told me her 5 year old daughter asked what beauty was, and I asked her to hold on while I ran inside and got my notebook. We were doing sidewalk chalk after a test because it was Friday and we needed a break. I hope I did well on that test. I know I aced my Economics quiz. However, I um... I'm not... I'm not really sure how I did on my *cough cough* math test *cough cough*.

Ohhh man, sorry about that guys. I guess I just had something caught in my throat. It was just a little bit of I HATE MATH WITH A FREAKING PASSION.

Sorry, sorry, I think it's gone now. Pesky little thing.

I wanna hear how you guys are doing! But not in the normal "how are you?" 'oh, I'm well' sort of way! POETRY! I just want to hear (well, read) some of my readers' poetry. It doesn't have to be long, just two or three lines about your feelings (IT CAN DEFINITELY BE LONGER IF YOU WANT). It can be any feelings; happy, sad, angry, nervous, fearful, ANYTHING! Just have at it in the comments you guys, I'd love to read if you're willing to share!

I love you all SO MUCH! Buhbye!

Kisses!
