Raindrops

11 2 2

Watching raindrops
On the window

Thinking of what to do
This ride is so long
So tedious
But I'll stay strong

The raindrops intertwine
Becoming bigger and bigger
Stronger together

They slide and roll
Along the glass
Such tiresome work
But they reach their destination at last.

Author's Note Time!

Hey you sweet little lovely loves! I am SO sorry I haven't been updating as much lately. A lot has been going on, and I mean a LOT. I'll probably tell Savy_Pearson tomorrow, or text her tonight. Something like that. But in the next month and a half or so, I'll probably be updating a little more.

Aaaaaaaanywho! The story behind this poem is simple. I was literally just sitting in the backseat of my dad's car watching rain make its way across the window. But I think my subconscious was trying to send me messages or something, because I looked back on this poem with my therapist, and she said that from what I'd been telling her, it had pretty much described my life. I looked back on it on my own and found she was right. It was so hard to stay strong, and everything was going by so painfully slowly. In the second or third stanza, I saw that "stronger together" part. Once I told Savy about what was going on, I felt stronger, and I got the help I needed. The last stanza, life can be tiresome and just freaking horrible sometimes, but once you complete the big task at hand, or even something as simple as reaching the place you were trying to go, there's this huge rewarding feeling! That's how I imagined raindrops feeling when the slipped past the window.

That's about it! I love you guys!
