The Old Day: Trolls

Part 2: Chapter 5

Branch's heath returned and he slept less. He was outside looking for branches and restocking his supplies. A thought came to him, What if I where to visit Poppy. Yeah it might require a bit of rule breaking. He went back to his home and gather a few supplies like water and food. He sets off.

Poppy was at the castle eating her lunch slowly and Guy Diamond was in a chair watching her. She felt oddly uncomfortable with her friend watching her. "Don't you have something else to do?" "Pfft... Nope!" Guy Diamond retorted.He started humming to himself in an auto-tuned voice. He then let out a sigh of discomfort.

"Whats wrong?" Poppy asked. Guy Diamond was not the type of troll that would be sad.

"I want Broppy to happen." Guy diamond pouted.

Poppy felt like her cheeks burn at the thought of Branch. She slowly got up and shuffled to her bed to keep Guy Diamond from looking at her. "You done with that?" Guy Diamond pointed to the tray with her food on it." Poppy shook her head in a 'yes' motion. He left to clear the tray.

Poppy was almost asleep on her bed when she her a clattering noise. She jolted and she leaped from her bed to her feet. She looked around to see where the noise originated from. The same sound pounded against her window. The opened it up and intensely looked down to see a gray figure hidden behind a cloak. Branch! Poppy felt fuzzy feeling course through her. She ran back inside ran out of her room and grab rope from the castle's supplies. She hurried to her room and let the rope fall.

Branch grasp the rope and Poppy lifted him up. He weighted more than Poppy expected. She heaved him up until he could get in himself. She was panting and she had to regain her breath. Branch had a sly smile on his light stone gray face. He went over and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"I've missed you." Branch whispered in her ear. She relaxed in his arm and his warm breath spread across her face. "I've missed you too, Branch" She replied back. Branch and Poppy looked deep in each other eyes. Getting lost in the moment. Branch's face moved closer to Poppy until he was an inch away. He slowly connected their lips and Poppy closed her eyes enjoying his warm lips that pressed against hers.

Branch felt a tingling sensation spread trough out his body. He was regaining the colors he thought he once lost. Her sweet lips tasted like heaven to Branch and wanted more. He hands traveled to her waist and Poppy wrapped her hands around his neck. She played with his hair loving the soft feeling of his hair on her hands. She pressed her body closer to Branch's. They parted for air and went back in for more.

Guy Diamond walked in and saw a scene unravel before them. Man they are really in love. Wait it's happening. Guy Diamond ran out screaming on the top of his lungs. This caught Peppy attention. "Is Poppy really a handful?" Peppy gave a sarcastic look. "No I-I can't explain." Guy Diamond let darkness crash his vision. Peppy got up and headed for her room. He walking in and saw Branch and Poppy kissing! Peppy let angry take over his better judgement. Branch let go of  Poppy and walk to the window. 

"Stay out Branch." Peppy yelled.

"I can't say that I will." Branch shrugged his shoulders. Branch jumped off and landed on a tree. He slid off of it slowly. He walked away from the castle happy that he had got to see Poppy. Poppy was left at her castle dazed. She didn't care that Peppy kicked Branch out, because she knew Branch loved her.
