Chapter 11

Cedrick

It has been five days since we found Reden at sa loob ng limang araw na 'yon ay wala siyang ibang ginawa kundi kulitin kaming tatlo. He wants me to talk seconds after seconds. Kahit alam naman niyang hindi ako ganoong klaseng tao.

Sa aming apat, siya ang pinakamaingay. Walang oras na lumilipas na hindi siya nagkekwento ng mga walang kwentang kwento. Good thing we have Francis. Dahil never ko talagang kakayanin ang ingay ng baklang 'yun. Si Francis lang naman nakakatagal sa lahat ng pagkokak niya kahit hindi umuulan.

He even tried to make Arvhie talk; though he ended up being burned. Ewan ko ba, napakasungit ng lalaking 'yun sa'min ni Reden. Kay Francis lang naman siya sweet at talkative.

And because of that, the bitch who controls plants keep on insisting that the two are an item. Hindi naman inaamin ng dalawa pero hindi rin nila dinedeny. That means we're stuck at nothing.

Bakit ba ako kasama sa nag-iisip kung may something ba sa dalawang 'yun? Hindi naman ako chismosang tao.

"You know what? Feeling ko talaga magjowa 'tong dalawa." bulong ni Reden pagkalapit na pagkalapit niya sa'kin.

Here we are again. Talking about other people's lives. So what kung magjowa nga sila? Yayaman ba siya?

"Ano sa tingin mo?" I acted like I can't hear him. Dahil patuloy pa ring naglalakad sa unahan namin ang hinihinalaan niyang magjowa ay ganon nalang rin ang ginawa ko.

"Bakla!" He called but I didn't even bother answering. Ni titigan siya ay hindi ko ginawa.

Napatigil ako sa paglalakad nang mapansin kong naging abala sina Francis at Arvhie sa pagmamasid sa paligid. A warm breeze of wind kissed my cheeks.

Suddenly, a rock attacked us from nowhere.

Since I have the most capacity to block rocks, I have made my decision to take cover. Maraming bato ang lumipad sa direksyon naming apat from different stand points. Kumbaga kami ang center of attack at napapalibutan kami ng mga kalaban.

I must admit that the attack is quite weak so my barrier can definitely block them. But I can't deny the fact na habang tumatagal, unti-unting humihina ang shield na ginawa ko.

It is an almost endless attack that even the greatest shield can't deflect. Masyadong marami ang atake for my shield to keep up.

"You can take it easy now, Cedrick. I'll take over." Francis claimed.

Little by little, the wind inside my barrier circulates from light to heavy. It's as if a strong storm is approaching and we have to seek shelter. Kailangan pa naming maghawak-hawak na tatlo para hindi lang liparin.

Given by the signal, I released my barrier and the strong winds suddenly flew toward the directions of the attackers.

Biglang naging kalmado ang lahat. As in wala.

It is too relaxing yet dangerous. We should never let our guards down. Hindi namin alam kung saan manggagaling ang atake kung magrerelax kami.

At that moment, a huge rock from the sky fell on us. We immediately jumped off to protect ourselves from being pressed off as a paper.

A huge explosion was heard; the ground shook and almost a sandstorm has been made.

We were lucky enough that we weren't hit by that rock. It is as if we'll die even before meeting the other members of the squad.

"Bitch I can't grow plants!" reklamo ni Reden. He's obviously annoyed dahil gusto niyang lumaban at magpapansin pero wala siyang magawa.
